Night 2 continues

Almost immediately the group parted ways again, Claudia leaving the party and going to find two of her allies. She went to Sarah Jonas’s apartment and found a party in full swing. Quickly Claudia was able to find both Sarah and another of her allies, Jared Jonas. Both allies are part of Claudia’s 80’s band, Sacrifice. She explains the situation and they quickly agree to help. Not only that, but they know of a few others to fill out the band. After staying until the party was over, Claudia headed back to her apartment for the day. Meanwhile, Chakan and Bob headed out when Chakan’s phone rang. Answering it, he was told to meet someone on the South Side. Before he could find out where though, the caller had hung up. Calling back he proceeded to find out where through a variety of crazy Malkavian ramblings. It made little sense, but the person on the other end just laughed and clarified the meeting place, The Silver Hawg, in South Chicago. After a cab ride to the bar, they have the cabbie pull around back before attacking him. The cab hit the back of the bar, but no one came to see what the ruckus was. Bob healed himself a bit while the Malkavian stole the cabby’s money. After feeding, Bob left the cabbie ten dollars before Chakan drove the taxi down the street, parking it illegally. The pair head inside only to have Bob spotted by one of the Brujah that had jumped him earlier in the evening. The pair stepped outside of the bar with Chakan following to watch. It really looked like the Assamite was doing his job, murdering his opponent, but the frenzied Brujah came back to hurt Bob pretty badly. Chakan jumped in and helped, taking down the Brujah, but not before he himself was hit. A blow to the head and the Malkavian effectively changed channels and now he seems to be a manic depressive. With the Brujah unable to move, Bob stepped in and sliced his head off. A youngster had stood watching and seemed to know Dre’, one of Chakan’s other personalities. At the end of the fight he faded into the shadows. Many of the bikers had come out of the bar to watch the fight and one of them pointed out a very nice looking motorcycle, saying that it used to belong to the vamp he’d just killed. After selling the bike for significantly less than it was worth, everyone goes back inside. They drain a prostitute, needing the blood. The manic-depressive tried to gnaw through Bob’s boot and received a hit to the head, effectively changing his channel once more. With no cabs in site and the bar closing in the wee hours of the morning, they began to try and steal a truck left in the parking lot. A bartender comes out and they are able to get some information from him. Evidently the, now truly deceased, Brujah’s friends come in every night. They would be there the next evening and the bartender was going to tell them that Bob was looking for them. Still needing blood, the duo headed up the street to a tenement building. The stealthy Assamite heads creeps in before engaging his Sphere of Silence. Waving the Malkavian in, the pair descend upon a sleeping couple, their slumbering children just down the hall. Each of them drain enough for what they need, but they leave them alive. From there they headed back to Bob’s home, for once not killing the cabbie that they call. Immediately upon entering the apartment, Bob stows his multitude of weapons in his weapons rack, finding homes for all newly acquired weapons in the kitchen.

In the news, a major hijacking took place where a great deal many guns and night-vision goggles were taken. Those that attacked took many direct hits with no evident effect.

NIGHT 3, Sunday April 21st

The next evening, upon her awakening Claudia called Chakan’s phone. Bob found the Malkavian had emptied his refrigerator and crawled inside. Trying to cope with the blithering idiot, Bob threw him into a wall where, once more, the Malkavian hit his head. As he picked himself back up, Bob called Claudia back. It was decided that she would come pick them up in her Cobra Mustang. She arrived to find Bob trying to explain things to Chakan, but now he was being introduced as Nolen. As the trio began to head out there was a panicked call from Lucinda Washington and it was evident that she was under fire. With the command to get there right away, Claudia tore through the streets of Chicago, arriving at City Hall in record time.
They found a silent mess as the door had been pulled apart. Heading down the stairs, they came across one after another downed vampires with colorful stakes through their hearts. On the way down though, Claudia got fed up with the Blithering Idiot’s ravings and gave him a good knock across the head, changing him to Chakan again. Coming across Lucinda they were informed that the Prince has been taken by the Malkavian. Seeing Chakan/Dre’/Nolen/blithering-idiot there, she pinned him to the wall demanding information. The force changed his channel and he became the blithering idiot once more. As he didn’t know anything they were sent to find the Prince, but at the same time, Chakan (and all of his personalities) were not allowed back inside of City Hall again. Deciding that Chakan’s junky friend might know some Nosferatu with information, they trio headed back to find him. While Claudia stayed beside her car, the other two went to see their friend. They found near him though, a Nosferatu. Using sign language he conveyed for them to follow him. They group head down extremely dimly lit corridors and into rat-infested areas.

The first Nosferatu led them to another, one so large and covered in loose skin rolls that it disgusted Claudia even more than the no-faced one that led them down. Her disgust was evident even as this large Nosferatu spoke with Bob. When she asked if they knew anything about the Prince’s location she was told that if she were to lose her challenge with Michael, they’d reveal where the Prince was. Immediately she began to seethe and to relieve themselves of her, they used her weakness against Claudia. Out came an original Rembrandt and the Toreador was transfixed, oblivious to what was being said. The Nosferatu continued talking with the other pair. In fact, they were told that the Prince would be released the next day and that the Tremere plot was just a ruse. As they put the painting away Claudia asked to purchase the gorgeous artwork and was told that the only way to get it was to stay down in the grimy ugliness with the Nosferatu for a year. She told them that she’d think about it. The group left on their own and had a tough time finding their way out.
Upon returning to where they left the car all they found was a junky holding a sign with her name on it. Knocking him over, Claudia read the back of the sign only to find out that her car had been taken back to her home, leaving them to walk.
A quick call from Annabelle informs Claudia of her challenge place and time, next Sunday at the nightclub Angel Tears.

After a couple of stops, during which time they pick up Claudia’s car again, they ended up back at City Hall. The shattered metal door has been replaced with a weak door, but it is locked. Bob tried to call Lucinda again, but merely got her voice mail. Feeling as though Annabelle might be able to help them, they headed to her place where she essentially dismissed Claudia, but spoke with Bob. On their way out, Bob received a phone call from the Nosferatu with an address that he believes is linked to the weapons and night-goggle theft that had happened.

Heading to Chicago Heights once more, the trio is let out of a cab in front of an abandoned factory. Inside, they find Dre’s handiwork guarding the other Assamite, who was incased in a Plexiglas cube. After fighting off three ghoul dogs, Nolan heads out to buy a sawzall leaving Claudia and Hale behind. Nolan receives a call from who his phone identified as Mother, who again calls him Dre. Nolan’s informed that he had bred the dogs they had fought, and is threatened with her ‘bringing out’ Dre. For the first time, Nolan hears Dre in the back of his mind whimpering in terror. Getting back from Wal-Mart with the sawzall, Nolan is confronted by a strange woman who utters the words “Sanginus Valde” wich sends Dre into further spazams of terror. Nolan talks briefly with her, and then the shadows envelop her and she is gone.

Hale quickly extricates his clan-mate, and using some of the hundreds of caged rats they find, feed his clan-mate before unstaking him. Healing the grievious wounds administered him during his torture, and exiting the plexiglas cube, ZQ’s first question is about his sword and the vial that had been in it’s hilt. He needs to take the Elder Tremere blood he had gotten back to Alumut. Borrowing cloths, money, supplies and even one of Hale’s Glocks, ZQ heads back to the Middle-East, saying he will return if it is allowed, he want’s the Tzimse’s head for himself. Claudia takes Nolan back to her place for the night, where he turns into the blithering idiot and makes a nest out of a $3000 sofa.

Night 4 Monday Aprin 22nd

Upon waking, Claudia and Chakan head to Hale’s place. Soon after they arrive, all three receive phone calls. Claudia’s was from Annabelle, telling her to meet, with her friends, Annabelle at the Sears tower. Chakan’s was from his sire, telling him the Ventrue were having a party at the Sears tower, and that Chakan’s sire wasn’t going. Bob received his call from Lucinda Washington, telling him that the Prince had summoned all city kindred to the Sears tower. After a brief discussion, they head there from Hale’s. Upon arriving, Hale is disarmed (voluntarily) while the Malkavian isn’t searched. Approximately 100 kindred are assembled here. The Prince speaks to them about the Malkavian’s abduction of her, where not one kindred was seriously hurt. The Malkavian’s informed her that the Sabbat were in town. The Prince has called the Emergency council, consisting of the Heads of each clan go off with the Prince. Lucinda offers a $10,000 bounty on every Sabbat head brought in, and dismisses the assembled Kindred.

After leaving the building, Hale is challenged by a Brujah. They have a brief gun fight, where Hale proves victorious. The Brujah invites him to a rave that night. Claudia heads off to her band’s place, practicing for her duel the rest of the night. Hale and Chakan go to the Rave, seeing Shawn again. Hale spars with Mike Hogan, Shawn’s enforcer, and Chakan beats up a Brujah, earning some respect. They party away until Michael calls a brief halt, announcing Hale’s search for the Giovanni to the assembled Brujah. Later, Sid talks to Hale, giving him a place to start looking, along with a name. The Hale and Chakan proceeded to party the rest of the night away.
