Twinsen sat up wearily his head throbbing wildly. He felt sick with dizziness and had to lean against the wall to stop himself from falling over. A couple of minutes later the black clouds lifted from him eyes a bit and he was conscious enough to stand up without falling over. He had no way of knowing which way the thugs had set of with his family so he decided that if he could talk to someone who had seen it then he stood a better chance of finding then and ultimately rescuing them. He headed off downtown looking up and down the deserted streets. He asked himself who would be up at 2am in the morning. That was apart from in the pub, they had their loud music and their dancing, they’d have never have heard or seen anything. After a few minutes he came to the sensible conclusion that he was only searching in vain, and that he couldn’t afford to waste anymore time. He couldn’t go as he was though, in just a tee-shirt and trousers with no weapons or anything like that. He ran back home. He dashed through the still open door and pulled on his tunic. He reached over for his magic ball and put it in his pocket. He was just on his way out again when you noticed a note on the table. It had been written in a hurry and it read ‘We don’t want your girlfriend or baby, but if you want them back then bring them along with The Book of Bú to the island across from the Hacienda’. Hurriedly he collected the Book of Bú from a locked cupboard and made his way to Dino-fly’s resting place behind the house. He woke up Dino-fly and as quickly as possible they set of for the island across from the Hacienda.
