Background:  Link is was born and raised by his family, the Kokiri, a rare breed of elf. This tribe lives in the forests located in the outskirts of Hyrule, a world in another place and time. At age 7, he left his tribe, as a tradition in his family, to help the innocent and search for adventure. As time went on, Link got older and wiser and became a master of many sword techniques. During his travels, he came upon a gang of thieves tormenting an old woman. Link jumped into action and saved the old woman from the gang. After helping her up, she looked at Link and smiled. She looked at the back of his hand and saw the symbol of the Triforce appear on his hand. The old woman told him her name was Impa, and that she had been searching for a hero to save Hyrule from a terrible monster called: Ganon. She told him that she was the caretaker of Princess Zelda, and how Zelda was captured by Ganon. Impa also told him about a powerful item called the Triforce, which Gannon stole and used it to summon monsters to do his bidding. Link set forth and after much battle, defeated Ganon, saved Zelda, retrieved the Triforce, and saved Hyrule from a horrible fate.

Note: These are not the actual charaterics and descriptions of Link from the video game 'The Legend of Zelda' (although I used the picture, the music, and some facts about him). These are the descriptions of the character I play in Yahoo! Chat RPG tavern. I just used the stats of me, such as the age, height, and weight, in real life to the character.
