OK
If this makes any sense and works for you let me know. I recently
erased BG to install SI, so I haven't been able to double check this.
If it doesn't work, I'll reinstall BG. It should work.
After you enter the correct entrance, you should be able to go at least
north, and probably east and west. Proceed north until you reach an
intersection. To the west should be a fire monolith, take a few steps
to the east (not too many) and you should see the the round
and round intersection with the sign. Proceed north again until you are
warped. Now you should be at another intersection, this time, with the
round and round intersection to the west and the sign on the wall. I do
not recall anything to the north. If you take a few steps to the east, you
should see that it turns south for a bit, and there is an opening in the east
wall. This east passage turns south, and when you reach the end you will
be warped. You should be able to go south. Proceed south until there is
a passage opening in the west wall and a wood door to your south. Take
the west passage. This passage will turn south but maintain a generally
westward direction.
The passage continues generally westward for some time. Stay to the west
until your only choice is north. There are some fields ahead, but they
do not get in the way. Just keep heading north until you see the read
moongate and the generator.

PS. Somewhere in Despise, there is a teleport that exists only on one side
of a small puddle. If you are ever warped near a small puddle, try walking past
it in the small space between it and the cavern wall.
