Dugal McAlister is played by Mike. His initial concept was from a Reaper Minis Scottsman. He started in Titan with a very "Mark Hamill" aura about him. He is from the town of Haemstrell just south of the Dwarven Community of Delve. He is a natural leader by virtue of the fact of when he thinks something is a good idea he runs with it. He genuinely loves his companions and his wife. Here are his thoughts on the other characters.
Mae-- As his longest running travelling companion Dugal loves Mae like his own sisters. He chuckles as others underestimate her. He knows she is very competant at what she does and sometimes will chide her when she hestitates about her own abilities.
Niamh-- Dugal knows that he and she are cut from the same cloth. He tends to be a little overprotective of her. When she first joined the group she was a little fragile and had a habit of taking a dirt nap at least once a session. Over time she came into her own and Dugal has come up with new and novel ideas how to use her abilities to augment the group's damage dealing abilities. Dugal enjoys her because she will sometimes go along with his hairbrained schemes.
He is a Fighter10/ Ranger 1/ Wind Rider 2. Dugal was designed wholly as the party "tank". Once the book "Masters of the Wild" was released we discovered the perfect career path for him as a Wind Rider. The levels in Ranger were added to rectify some rules misunderstandings we had early on in the campaign. As a character he is outrageous, wild, loyal, and a little strange at times. Eventually his mini will be posted on the site.
