Geography:
Elbittern is a shattered disc. When the great collapse occured, the disc itself fell out of the sky, landing on the Trackless Sea below. Once made up of rolling hills, low valleys and small but lush forests, Elbittern's landscape has been demolished when the disc fell. Parts of the rim have broken off, and now float as islands up to ten miles away. While a few new mountains and valleys have appeared, the ecosystem has remained for the most unchanged, and is bountiful in boreal (coniferous) forests.

Artificial Structures:
Towns dot the waterways of Elbittern, the capital residing at where the Elustrian meets the Avarian. In the Amobek moountain range, the ruins of an ancient civilization lie, undisturbed for centuries.

Climate:
Elbittern has frigid Winters and cool Summers. Spring and Autumn are brief but welcome, for rain falls the most then, and recently Elbittern has had to grow their own crops instead of importing from richer discs like Doranis.

Politics:
Since the Collapse, many of the city-states that make up Elbittern have banded together for mutual survival. Dangerous creatures are starting to roam the countryside, and aquatic creatures have started to find their ways up water channels. Because of this, a small army has been raised to deal with threats to all confederated cities, and to neutral cities if assistance is required.

Trade:
Trade on Elbittern is slowly picking up. Recovering from having their trading partners cut off, the city-states near the fertile mountains have begun exporting food in return for lumber from forested areas. Unlike many other discs, Elittern has become independant of interdisc trade.

Zoology:
Doranis has become the home to many strange creatures since the Collapse. Waterways exposed to the Trackless Sea, many new kinds of marine life have begun to migrate to Elibttern. Doranis' usual marine life is dying off, its lakes becoming polluted with salt water.
Mantra Sharks are flat bodied fish spanning three metres wide. They are a mixed blessing to Ellishwar's fishing industry, as they supply vast amounts of meat and blubber, but are feeding off of other fish that normally go to the Elilshwars.
Dolphins are usually only found in Atlantis, but an increasing number of pods are finding their way amoung Atlantis' waterways.
Leviathan attacks are becoming more frequent these days, and there is nothing the Elbittern Confederate Navy can do. These mile long behemonths have skin metres thick, and not one has been killed. Sailors joke about what they would do with the carcas, but glance apprehensively over their shoulder, towards the rolling waves.

Botany:
Elbittern has mostly boreal forests, but since the lakes and rivers have become salt water, these forests are receeding to inland lakes.
Clam Trees have two-pieced, clamlike leaves. The plants have moved in with the rush on seawater, and are largely carnivorous. When a creature comes close, the leaves lash out and swallow the victim.
Waypoints are almost tentlike in appearance. A boon to travellers, waypoints are hollow and water-resistant, allowing the weary adventurer a warm place in from the cold.
