Geography:
Mayador is a scorched disc. Infertile fields produce no crops, rivers are reduced to mere trickles of water in the unnatural heat, and the sun's gentle warms is magnified tenfold as it enters the disc's sphere of influence. By far the most pronounced natural feature is a massive pit, a tear in the earth thirty miles long, three miles wide and over as deep deep as it is wide. reaching over this gorge is a precipice, and at the tip lies Pyrimidine, the capital city of a nation of the same name. Volcanic activity is very high on Mayador, and less than a third of the land is hospitable.

Climate:
Mayador is hot and dry year round. Temperatures remain above 30° all year, and on days of high eruption, it can grow to the low 40's.
Politics:
The people of Mayador are to busy with surviving than with border disputes. There are three major nations on Mayador, and the overlap between their borders can be leagues across. The three major political divisions are The Nation of Pyrimidine which runs along the rimward edge of the Magma Fissure and consists mostly of habitable land, The Empire of Char, which lies on the far side of the Fissure and lies in heavily volcanic regions (the Empire's three Forges are dedicated to keeping the capital on the ground - or rather keeping the ground under the capital). The final nation of Obsidière lies mostly in the aeon eroded hills of three long dead volcanoes. Because of this, it is the agricultural capital of Mayador.
Trade:
The people of Pyrimidine trade constantly with people of the Madorian nation of Obsidière for agricultural products, and also with numerous Floatillia discs for tropical fruits and seafood (a commodity in Mayador). Char's trades solely with the discs of Prismathia and Atlantis, but not with its fellow Madorians. Obsidière trades with Pyrimidine only, due to the poor state of their goods, only Pyrimidine will buy them.
Zoology:
Mayador is an especially harsh disc, its desolation defeated only by the discs of Prismathia (or Silviatt in another manner). As such, Madorian creatures are tougher than those of safer discs.
Feuranimards are reptilian creatures that look much like turtles, but are exceptionally fast and tough. Their thick hides enable feuranimards to safely cross lava flows by swimming through them for short periods of time.
Feuries are called fire sprites by outsiders. They look like typical sprites, with brilliant red wings. They gain a +2 bonus to saves vs. fire.
Botany:
Mayador has very little plantlife, except for in the Obsidière region, where plant life is mostly sub-tropical. Mayadorian plants are resistant to fire, and make saves at +2.
Fruits surprenant are dangerous plants, which appear much like thick, jungle vines. They grow deep in the lands of desolation, and are rarely seen.
