Omnipodia
City on the Edge of Forever

Diameter: 83 miles

Geography:
Officially called The United City-Nation of Omnipodia, it is the largest city in the world. One city united from rim to hub to rim again. The city has no fewer than five lakes in it, the largest of which, the Lake of Ports, has four seperate Ivory Straits. Parks and forests are maintained by the Sylvan Nature Guild, and rivers slie through the city at abrupt angles, at times running parallel to the streets.

Artificial Structures:
Omnipodia can best be described as one city, eighty-three miles in diameter. No stone is unpolished (the Maintainance Guild sees to that), and every patch of available space (not in parkland) has been taken up with some business, factory, or residence. The ancient buildings of centuries past still stand at the heart of Omnipodia, the Chapel of the Forge among the highest. The streets are crowded almost during daylight hours, and at night, the alleyways and shadows come alive.

Climate:
Omnipodia is hot in the winter and cold in the summer. Perhaps the disc origionally arrived far south in another world, where sages comment that the seasons are reversed. Or maybe it is the subtle work of the Time Well. If it is, no one does anything about it, Omnipodian channellers most often saying grimly "It could be much worse."

Politics:
The United City-Nation of Omnipodia is a tentative name in the least. The city is run by a coallition of over fourty guilds, each in control of a seperate aspect of the city, or in charge of part of the city's trade. Amoung the most powerful guilds dictating trade are the Brilliant Guild of Illumination, the Grand Guild of the Bakers, and the Excellent Guild of Meat and
THE CITY IS RUN BY A COALLITION OF OVER FOURTY GUILDS
Poultry. These three guilds control a majority of trade between the three of them. Guilds that function on a non-trade basis contribute to the city somehow. The True Guild of Law and Justice are the police force of Omnipodia, the Crafty Guild of the Shadows is a massive organized crime ring, and the Blessed and Pure Guild of the Righeous keep the faith in the city.

Trade:
Omnipodia has no fewer than eight Ivory Gates, and six Ivory Straits. Because of this, Omnipodia has free trade relations between all discs but Gothicallis (for obvious reasons), Guntz (for painfully obvious reasons), and several Heartlandish nations. Omnipodia has often been called the center of trade for the world, and caravans travel the streets daily (under the vigilant watch of the Costly Guild of the Mercenaries).

Zoology:
Omnipodia has wildly varied animals, but no developed ecosystem (aside from the well maintained lakes and parks). Most animals find their way into the city as part of a caravan, but sometimes get left behind.

Botany:
The plants of Omnipodia are limited to the parks maintained by the Sylvan Guild of Nature, and are mostly imported Asiguru trees.
