Geography:
Prismathia is a desert disc, blasted by strong winds and an undying heat. It is covered in sand, except for a few barren and rocky hills to the west. There are few streams on Prismathia, and no lakes.

Artificial Structures:
Prismathia is home to one of the oldest, most ancient civilization that still exists to an extent today. The Empire of Silt controls more than eighty percent of non-runoff regions. The remaining land is considered open territory, where desert nomads live and brigands terrorize caravans. The capital of Silt, Patagon, contains architecture from many of the cultures periods in history, from the early cubic and sharp designs, to the later organic styles, up to the present day cone like spires. Some of the buildings reach hundreds of yards into the sky. The cities of Sechura and Thar also contain examples of these diverse styles, and the Glass Pyramids of the Atacama region are the largest in existance.
Climate:
Prismathia has a hot, dry climate, much similar to Mayador. One difference found by unlucky travellers to both discs is that on Madoran heat is 'in the air' from the fumes and volcanic activity. Prismathian heat radiates 'from the ground' so it seems, as the sun relentlessly heats the leagues of sand. Temperatures in the infamous Black Sands Valley are the highest recorded surface temperatures.
Politics:
The Sand Empire of Silt has been in power for well over three thousand years, making it the oldest surviving human civilization on Tientopia (care should be made to say 'human', as the elven cultures of Asigaru and Atlantis are roughly unchanged from the time those discs first arrived in Tientopia). The Empire is still ruled over by a Pharaoh, a an emperor who is revered almost as a god. Magistrates are appointed by the pharaoh to rule over large city-states, or in small settlements and the surrounding area. Visitors are disliked.
Trade:
The Empire of Silt trades with both the Madoran Empire of Char (sages believe there may be a historical connection of sorts), with the elven discs of Atlantis and Asigaru (simply for fresh water and healthy plants), and with numerous Heartlandish nations. Trade was once common with the Gemstones region until the fall of the great dwarven kingdoms. The Ivory gate connecting the two discs was lost in a mountain pass, but has recently been rediscovered by a band of adventurers, trade may once again pick up if the mountain pass can be secured from the goblin hordes.
Zoology:
Prismathia, like Mayador, is a harsh disc, and its creatures are made to withstand the burning heat of the open sands. Very few creatures on Prismathia are short of monstrous status, and will be covered in the TIENTOPIAN MONSTROUS APPENDIX in coming updates.
Botany:
Only cactus plants can live outside the well tended gardens of the cities. Out on the open dunes, cacti (pl.) come in many shapes, all with smooth green 'skin'. Some varieties are spiked. Cacti are capable of holding vast amounts of water in their bulbous bodies, and thirsty travellers need but cut one open to aquire life giving water.
