Starry Night
Description:
A view of the night sky.  Abstract but not abstract enough to not figure out what he was painting.  Use of cool colors with the exception of yellow for the stars.

My Interpitation:
This piece was from my readings about it supposed to have religous meaning behind it.  I do not see that.  I have the feeling of being swept away to the stars.  It has a very mellow mood yet it is very active.

Evaluation:
This piece although not considered by the artist himself is in my opinion one of his greatest works.  It is by far one of the most interesting piece of work out there in the art world.
Edvard Munch
The Scream
Description:
Edvard Munch's the scream is another interesting piece.  Using mainly warm colors it   The person in the foreground showing a lot of fear or maybe as mentioned in the tittle of the picture screaming of some anxiety.

Interpitation:
Personally this piece is one that I idolize around finals time when I am tired and have been studying for several hours.  Just looking at it keeps me from actually doing what he did in the picture.

Evaluation:
Another piece of work that I find emotionally moving.  Staring at this picture and not knowing any historical meaning behind the picture can give the person viewing it so many reasons why he is screaming and when a person thinks they know why maybe they should check to see if that is what they want to scream out.
