| The ISU-152 was supplied to the PLA by the Soviet Union in the 1950s, being shown for the first time at the 1959 October 1st parade. Although rumors persist that ISU-152s accompanied the People's Volunteer Army into Korea during that conflict, I have yet to find any firm evidence to support this claim. The vehicle is armed with an ML-20 152mm gun similar to the D-1 (Type 54) and mounetd on the same chassis as the IS-2m. -Desperado6 |
