This deep dragon claims as its territory a vast expanse of spelljamming tunnels in Dungeonsphere. It allows only those ships that have paid a "toll" to use these tunnels, and under most circumstances that toll is a rather large ammount. Any ships or persons caught tresspassing in Spawn's territory will be hunted down and destroyed. He will sometimes revoke allowances to ships that have paid his toll. When that happens he will do whatever he can to destroy that ship and all aboard. This is thought to be done only to those ships that have slighted the dragon in some way, but when you are dealing with an evil meglomanic anything can be a slight to it.
Spawn of Nightmares, while he is still able to change shape into humanoid form, disdains using forms that he considers beniegth him. The only humanoid types he will ever change into are humans and drow. Although this does allow him to enter the smaller tunnels, Spawn has taken to collapseing any tunnel leading from the spelljamming caves smaller then 20' in diameter.
Within his territory he keeps only one law. And that law is that any who disagree or upset him are subject to punishment. And the only punishment is death.
