Nightsky is an unusual dragon in that he has no established lair. He wanders throuhgout Dungeonsphere disguised as whatever will cause him the least ammount of harm. These disguises are made possible by the wand of polymorphing that he carries at all times.
A lot of his time he spends with the numerous deep gnomes cities, for he shares their love of gemstones. He is known to the deep gnomes as Belwar Farsteps. The gnomes think he is just a far wandering trader, for he comes and goes frequently, and is sometimes gone for a long period of time. As Belwar he has a number of dwellings in several different gnome cities.
When encountered in the wilds he will be disguised as a deep gnome, deep dwarf, drow, or a stone giant. If encountered as a drow he will either be on his way to or from a drow city to spy on the evil elves, or to catch his favorite snack, a giant spider. When he is a stone giant, he knows about this encounter and assumes this form to protect his own disguised dragon form. It is only when he encounters an Abloeth or one of its minons that he will assume dragon form and attack without provocation or warning. In battle he will withdrawl if outmatched or down to 20% of his hit points. With aboleth he will never withdrawl and will fight to the death if need be.
He has many horde catches scattered throughout Dungeonsphere and though they are sometimes found he places many wards and traps to protect them.
