As the ash of the crash flows through the Hyrulian atmosphere, Aganhim now wonders where K-Jor-Ak has stored his crystals. Those crystals are the key to the ruler of the world.
'Ganon, I need assistance to gain those crystals from K-Jor-Ak.'
' I'll send some reinforcements from this world of darkness that I remain in. Be patient.'
'Where can I receive these "reinforcements"?'
'Go to the Northern Mountains...or should I say...Death Mountain, and wait at the portal for the guards.'
'What about you, can't you bring the Triforce with you?'
'As long as I don't have full control of the Triforce, I cannot leave the pyramid.'
'And what if K-Jor-Ak gets in my way again?'
'I'll protect the portal with some of the Triforce's power. I can only use very little of the power in the world of light.'
'Yes. I'll be on my way.'
But where was Aganhim? He had absolutely no clue as to where he had teleported to in the world of darkness. All he could see was Death Mountain with a couple of additions to it. On the ground, Aganhim had spotted a glimmer. It was a mirror. As Aganhim gazed into it, it brought him to the only place he recognized in Death Mountain, Spectacle Rock.
"I don't need this anymore." So Aganhim tossed away the mirror that had helped him. That tower had given tAganhim the creeps, so he hid behind a rock and shielded himself with a stealth spell. Even with the Triforce's power protecting him, he had a feeling K-Jor-Ak was watching him.
Back at the fair, everyone had headed home in fear of the huge crashing noise. All but one. One heroic boy who is also very curious as to what had happened on the Northern Mountains.
"Link! C'mon! Let's go home!"
"OK UNCLE HOMER! I'LL FOLLOW YOU HOME! I JUST HAVE TO PICK UP SOMETHING!"
"Ok, but hurry home."
Link decided to check out of what remains of the fair. All he had found were the deserted booths of performers who had been scared off by the crash. 10 minutes after promising to go home, Link decided to return to his uncle's house to get a bite to eat. So he was on his way. But Link's instincts told him that he should have some protection with him. After all, that crash did give him the creeps. Link headed over to the arena where gladiators had fought for prizes. He spotted a shield and took it just in case of and emergency. So he headed toward his uncle's house.
On his way to his uncle's house, he heard some rustling in the bushes near by. Link decided to take a closer look being the brave hero he is. As he walked toward the bush where the rustling had been heard, a rock had been shot at his left arm. Then it started to bleed a little. The beast continued to shoot rocks at him. But he had blocked them with his shield. Using his hield, he crushed the monster with his shield. Blood splattered all over the ground. But when he looked around, he noticed blood all over the ground. Something wasn't right here. Then a thought raced through his mind...what about his uncle? Link then raced back home to check on him. On the way, Link had encountered more monsters. He must have killed over 5 types of monsters ranging from pig-like monsters throwing boomerangs, to animals that looked like pickles. But he had killed all that attacked him. As Link entered the door of his house, his Uncle Homer had been lying on the floor wounded carrying his sword and shield. Blood had been drenched on his sword from monsters that had attacked him.
"Link! Were you attacked by monsters too?"
"Yes. But I took care of them."
"Something strange is going on here. And I think it has to do with that crash at the Northern Mountains.
I think I'd better check it out."
"NO! You're wounded. Let me go. I must have killed over 20 monsters trying to get here and you barely made it! Let me go! PLEASE! For your own good."
"OK. But take my sword and shield with you. They have beed blessed by our ancestors generations ago."
"Use this shield I found at the fair in case a monster should come in here."
"OK. And good luck. Here is a map of Hyrule and a lantern. They should be useful. And be careful."
"I will Uncle. If I don't return, let's hope the power of the Triforce will save us all."
"You WILL survive. And stop by at the bysterious hut near the Waterfall of Wishing. Tell the woman there that Homer sent you. Let me mark it on your map...there you go. Now head over to that hut and see the woman there. And take some rupees from my pouch. You will need them."
"Thanks Uncle Homer. I'll be back as soon as this is over."
As young Link walked through that door, Homer had known that he would not be gone for a very long time. And there the journey for the young and courageous Link was just about to begin...
