Any Chaos Space Marine army may be led by Troyus, and he counts as one of your HQ choices. He must be used as detailed below and may be given no additional equipment. He may only be used in a battle where both players have agreed to the use of special characters.

SPECIAL RULES The Face's Pistols: Troyus is armed with two ornate bolt pistols he aquired during a campaign against the Imperium. They fire with the effect of Master-crafted Weapons (see CODEX Space Marines). Both pistols must be fired at the same target. Independant Character: Troyus is always an independant character and may not have a retuine or join another squad. "Hey isn't that...": Over many centuries of fighting Troyus has ammased a huge variety of faces and uniforms, which he wears into battle, depending on who he is fighting. This means his enemy must take a leadership test before firing at him. If he is fighting two or more different races at one time he must choose which one will be affected. (Note: Tyranids and Necrons are unaffected by this.)

The hijacking of a transport vessel carrying miscreants to a penal colony is believed to have been carried out by Troyus, who had disguised himself as one of the miscreants (Ref. holovid: "Penal Air"). The freed miscreants then went on to assist Troyus in an assault on the penal colony itself (Ref. holovid: "The Rock"). 997M41. The virus bombing of the Governor's Palace on Los Angelisis attributed to Troyus who gained entry whilst disguised as a Imperial Preacher (Ref. holovid: "Faced Off"). The explosion resulted in the deaths of over 2 million of the Emperor's servants, including the Govenor himself.
