GHOULISH WARBANDS

Vampires have always been present in the Empire, but it was with the desolation of Mordheim that they were finally allowed to express themselves as individuals, and express themselves they did. But they weren't the only ones who reveled in the plentiful bounty of dead bodies. The Ghouls, who had once hidden in the shadows, were no able to imerge into the open as fully fledged members of the Mordheim community (so to speak). It was inevitable that their parties would inevitably cross, and when they did it turned out to be a match made in heaven. The Vampires drained the blood from their victims, while the Ghouls finished off what was left. This unholy partnership led to the creation of many a successful warband.

CHOICE OF WARRIORS
A Ghoulish warband must include a minimum of 5 model. You have 500 Gold Coins to recruit your warband. Maximum number in the warband is 15.

OVERLORDS
Vampire..........Your Warband must be led by a Vampire.
UNDERLINGS
Ghouls..........Your Warband may include any number of Ghouls.
Cursed..........Your Warband may include up to 5 of The Cursed.
Bats..........Your Warband may include up to 5 Bats.

Vampire..........75 Gold Coins to recruit

Tainted by the curse of Undeath, Vampires must drink blood to sustain themselves. It is only by this process that they are able to sustain themselves.

Weapons and Armour: The Vampire may choose any items from the Vampire Equipment List.

SPECIAL RULES
Leader.
Any warrior within 6" of the Vampire may use the Vampires's leadership instead of his own.
Fear. Vampires cause Fear.
Hypnotic Gaze. Any model in combat with the Vampire must pass a Leadership test or lose one of their attacks.
You Are Now Mine! If you want, any models captured by your warband may be turned into The Cursed. Remember, you may never have more then 5 of The Cursed in your Warband.

UNDERLINGS (Bought in groups of 1-5)

Ghouls..........25 Gold Coins to recruit

Ghouls are the shambling descendants of cannibals and other depraved human beings. They feed on flesh and are commonly found lurking around graveyards and other places of death (like Mordheim).

Fraidy Cats. Ghouls will always run away if they lose a combat.

Cursed..........15 Gold Coins to recruit

The Cursed are those unfortunate enougth to have been bitten by a Vampire. Their skin is pale and their eyes sunken. They are cursed to follow the Vampire until they meet their deaths and form a group with him.

Modelling The Cursed
To represent the cursed try using Bretonnian Men-at-arms or Imperial soldiers. For some added spice try Elven or Dwarven models. Paint the model as normal but make the flesh more pale and the area around the eyes darker to represent sunken eyes. If you want to get really detailed you could even paint two small dots on the models neck to represent bite marks.

Bats..........15 Gold Coins to recruit
For some reason Vampires have always attracted bats and in Mordheim things are no different. It is not uncommon for bats to accompany the Vampire in his unworldly dealings.

Buzzing Like Flies. The bats must always stay within 4" of the Vampire at all times.
