After each battle your are allowed to search for precious Wyrdstone. Only warriors that were not stunned or out of action at the end of the battle may do so. Any Wyrdstone found can then be sold to merchantmen, magic users, etc... to generate income for the warband. This income can then be spent upgrading, and possibly hiring, warriors for your warband.
For each eligible warrior (see above) roll a D6 and refer to the chart below.

| 1 | Nothing. A fruitless search by the Warrior, no income is generated. |
| 2-5 | Wyrdstone. The warrior finds a small piece of Wyrdstone which will generate D6 GC/WT/CSs worth of income. |
| 6 | MOTHERLODE! The warrior has found a HUGE piece of Wyrdstone which will generate a whopping 3D6 GC/WT/CSs worth of income. |
