Marvel versus Capcom: The Fanfic!

8/15/99 It's been a damn long time in coming, but I finally updated. Well, I kind of renovated the site a little a few months ago, but I finally broke down and added a chapter. Enjoy! More to come soon...a lot sooner and faster than that last update! =)

In case you haven't noticed, there haven't been any updates in nearly a year. Sorry about that, but little things like school and a pathetically-slow modem got in the way of the creative process. =) Well, some of you may have noticed a few little tweaks here and there to make the website a little less haphazard--this was my first crack at webpage building, after all. Anyway, expect the fanfic to be continued within this week, and the entire fic to be completed by mid-September 1999, if all goes well. Thanks to those who have patiently waited (there can't have been that many of you) and hello to those of you who have stumbled upon this site in my absence.

Oh, and a little thing I wanted to make clear. I might not plan on putting in all of the characters. This fanfic does indeed deal with all three crossover games in general, and since Marvel includes the X-men and Capcom includes the Street Fighters, well, they're all going to be in there, unless I just can't incorporate them or just plain don't want to. I usually don't take requests, because I found I can't make everyone happy. But if you like this fic, then please, take the good with the bad, but feel free to bitch (a little) to me if you don't like something in particular.

Marvel vs. Capcom is one of my favorite arcade games, even though I don't play it that much anymore. Among the things that I thought it lacked, however, was a decent storyline. Capcom spent so much effort (well, not that much *read: palette swap*) on throwing in so many characters, but they are all floating around without any of the definitive plotline that made SF Zero and broke SFIII. So here is my humble attempt at a fanfic...I'll be adding more chapters as I find the time.
