Dipsomania: manifests itself periodicly whenever large quantities of alchohol is available the afflicted will drink to the point of passing out and likely continue upon awakening. if the afflicted is denied the alchohol he or she may become violent. Kleptomania: an ardent desire or uncontrollable urge to steal any small objects available. the afflicted will furtively pocket small items regardless of thier worth. whenever the oportunity presents itself and he or she will likely seek out such oportunities. Schizoid: personality loss. the afflicted has no personality of his own. so he will seek out a role model and make any attempt possible to copy that person. pathological liar: this form of insanity is evident after conversion with the afflicted for a short time. the person will likely make outrageous claims about abilities posessions experiences or events. whenever something meaningfull is discussed the person will be unable to tell the truth and will lie with the utmost conviction completely believing in the lie. Monomania: This person will seem absolutely normal untill presented with a notion or idea and then he or she will become obsessed with the acomplishment of this new goal. The person will not think about anything else or speak of anything else untill the goal is met. the monomaniac will brook no swerving from any friend or associate. the person will demand that others serve "the cause" with the same devotion that tthe afflicted does. once the person has acomplished the task he or she will suffer from dementia preacox untill another task presents itelf. Dementia Preacox: the aflicted will seem quite uninterested in anything. nothing will seem worthwhile and the individual will be continually filled with lassitude and a trememndous feeling of ennuie. no matter how important the situation the afflicted will likely ignore it as meaningless. melencholia: similar to Dementia Preacox, this mallady makes the afflicted suffer from black moods fits of brooding and feelings of hopelessness. the individual will likely pay no attention to his or her life due to a fit of melencholie coming over the person. Megalomania: with this condition a person will be absolutely sure that he or she is the absolute best at everything. the smartes, wisest, strongest, fastest, handsomest and most powerfull person ever. the afflicted may become very hostile to any who deny this. the person will demand the right to make all decisions and lead or perform any important act. delusionary insanity: similar to megalomania this condition causes a person to believe that he or she is a famouse figure. a monach, a movie star etc. those who fail to recognize the afflicted as such will incur great hostility. in normal affairs the person will seem normal. however the person will tend to act appropriate to a station the person doesnt actually have, tending to order around people that may or may not exist and drawing or monies and resources that the individual doesnt have. Schizophrenia: well known as split personality disorder. whenever a stressfull situation arises this person will switch over to one of several other completely different personalities. this insanity strikes suddenly and violently. when the maniacal state passes the individual often wont remember his or her actions and will deny bieng insane. lunacy: violent homicidal state incurred by the full moon. when the moon is absent or in its first or last quarters the afflicted will become melonchlic. at other times the person will be quite normal- perhaps a bit irascable or suspicious. paranoia: at the onset of this derangement the afflicted becomes convinced that "they" are out to get him or her. they are plotting spying listening and always nearby. as the affliction develops the individual will become convinced that everyone is part of the scheme. every action of former friends is aimed at deluding the person. the paranoid will be concerned with position and goods at first but will later come to believe that "they" are after his or her life and take excessive care with locks food and drink etc. in later stages the person will evidence irrational behavior and may evern become homicidal for the sake of self preservation. paranoids will trust no one. Manic-depressive: severe mood swings. when excited the individual will become maniacal and when disapointed or frustrated will become meloncholic. hallucinatory insanity: this malady causes the afflicted to see hear and otherwise sense things that are only figments of thier imagination. the more exciting or stressfull a situation is the more likely the individual will have hallucinations. common delusions are ordinary objects, people passing by or voices giving information or even instructions. Sado-Masochism: this form of insanity is coupled with maniacal urges and behaviour. the afflicted individual is equally likey to be in a sadistic or masochistic mood. in the former the person will have an uncontrollable urge to cause pain while in the masochistic phase he or she will have an equally strong urge to be hurt and act accordingly. Homicidal Mania: the individual appears absolutely normal. he or she will behave in what seems to be complete rationality, and nothing unusual will be noted about the person. except occasionally he or she may manifest a unique interest in weapons, poisons and other lethal devices. The afflicted becomes obsessed with the desire to kill. the desire is uncontrollable and if not sated periodicly the frustrated individual will become maniacal and attack the nearest living thing in a berserk rage. after a bout of homicidal mania an person often suffers melencholie. Hebephrenia: a person suffering from this withdraws from the real world. he or she will wander aimlessly, talk to himself or herself, giggle and mutter and act childishly. sometimes the individual reverts completely to childhood and wishes to play childish games with people. the insanity is a constant but if sufficiently irritated a person suffering from this will become enraged and maniacal. followed by a state of catatonia. Suicidal mania: overwhelming urges to destroy ones-self whenever a means is presented. a perilous situation, a weapon or anything. the more dangerous the situation or item the more likely the person is to react self destructively. if no suicide attemp is made or if made and failed the individual mecomes meloncholic. catatonia: a person who completely withdraws from reality. he or she will sit staring and unmoving, will not react to any ouside stimuli and will eventually die of dehydration if left alone. the individual can be led around fed etc but will do nothing personally if continually provoked over a long period of time to get a reaction any reaction is likely to be a homicidal mania. |
