The Objects

1 Concept
The concept is a short description that captures the essence of the object. It defines a general power level.

The Rules

The task resolution uses two six-sided dice. One represents the object(Self) and the other represents the task(Conflict). You need to be able to tell which dice is which. Modifiers of -2 to +2 can be assigned to Conflict by the GM based on each individual situation. Players can modify Self with karma points. Players can also modify Self-re-rolls with karma points.

Roll dice. Check for critical results. Modify. Compare both results to talent.
Both under means total success. Both over means failure. Just one under means marginal success.
One under and other even means re-roll to get total success.
One over and other even means re-roll to get marginal success.
Both even means re-roll both and calculate points.

0-5 points means failure, 6-11 is a marginal success, and 12 points means a total success.
All natural results of two dice both showing 1 are critical successes and all results of both dice showing 6 are critical failures. This rule doesn't apply on re-rolls, and you never re-roll after a critical result. Modifiers do not affect critical results, always look at the natural result. Objects get one karma point whenever the player rolls a critical result.
