Which Elves:
These deadly beauties are a
small but
effective part of the Dark
Elf army.
Corsairs:
The Dark Elf Corsairs are a
very effective
way of dealing with either
close combat
or long distance as they are
armed with
two hand weapons and the repeater
bolt thrower.
Spear men:
Spear men are not all that
use full but since they do have
spears up to 3 ranks can fight.
So they are use full for
rank bonuses.
Cold Ones:
These super deadly units can
mow through anything you put
them up to. With there 2+ saving
throw they are very hard to
kill. The cold ones have 2
attacks plus the rider {1} makes
a huge attack rate of three
attacks per model. You can also
equip them with repeater cross
bows. An extra 2 attacks. So
on average each miniature will
have 5 attacks. The only
is that they cost a few points
{48} and they are quite
expensive.
Black Guard of Naggaroth:
This unit is very strong. With each hit from there
axes can
inflict 3 wounds. So they are good for taking out
infantry
with a lot of wounds.
City Guard:
This unit is a combination of archers and spear men
so if
they get stuck in close combat they can at least
defend
themselves with the spear men up the back.
Harpies:
Harpies can fly so they can get behind the opposing
army
and attack from behind. They are hard to kill because
they
have hard skin and 2 wounds each. They are a good
thing
to have in any army.
Repeater Cross Bow Men:
These are very handy at the back of your army because
they
have a fairly far range and you have the option of
firing 1
or 2 bolts. So they can mow down their troops from
a far
distance. But they are useless in close combat so
guard
them well.
The Standard Bearer:
This guy is the army's Battle Standard is usually
on his own
but you can have them in regiments.
Swords Men:
This unit is the commonest unit on the field. But
it is
sometimes not used in some battles. It depends who
you
are fighting.
Sorceress:
This is the Dark Elf Sorceress{female} but there
is a Sorcerer{male}
but he looks a lot different.
Repeater Bolt Thrower:
This is a deadly weapon against strong characters
or regiments. It
is very useful against things like the Rat Ogre or
the Tree Man
or anything big like those. It can go threw regiments
as deep as
5 ranks.
