Bunnie has rejoined the freedom Fighters, Snivley has run away from
Robotropolis, and Hershey is in for the fight of her life...

PART 1

Robotropolis, confinement room thirteen
	6:55pm 11-17-99 E.D.E.

Hershey awoke to a pleasant smell. Upon investigation, Hershey found
a plate of fish, with an eating fork and a glass of apple juice next to it.
"I wonder who left this?" Hershey thought aloud. There was a note
next to the plate, it had Snivley's name on it. The letter read:

"I've been helping the Freedom Fighters the best I can. By the time
you get this, I will be gone. I figured you could use a good meal to
prepair for tonight's challenge. Good luck."

<> Hershey thought to herself <>
Hershey devoured her meal, and enjoyed it very much. Hershey looked
out of tiny cell window and saw the sun disappear behind the west main
generator building. Eventually her cell was dark, lit only by the red glow
of the city sky. Hershey heard the sound of the hall door open, it was two
combots, one was a commander. The combots removed Hershey from her cell,
and dragged her away. Hershey didn't resist or yell because she knew it
would only use up her strength.

Robotropolis, control room
	7:25pm

As Hershey was brought into the control room, she saw a green portal,
the same green as Agress' cape. The only reason Hershey noticed this was
because Agress was standing next to the portal. The two combots carried
Hershey through the portal, followed by Robotnik and Agress.

Sullenia, Sullen castle, Agress' lobby
	7:32pm (11:33pm Sullenian time)

Hershey was able to see out the skylight. She was frightened by what
she saw. The red sun was nearly at its zenith, though the sky was still
quite dark. Hershey looked out the north window. The mountains were all
black.
	<> Hershey thought to herself.
"That's what I like to think of Sullenia as" said Agress "Home sweet
H*ll."
	"You!?" uttered Hershey.
"Read your mind?" said Agress in an inocent tone "Of course, you
simple minded creature."
Two guards entered the room carrying a large metal and plastic cage
resembeling a large pet carrier. The guards knelt before Agress.
"Take this animal to the kennels." said Agress.
"Oh no!" said Hershey in an annoyed "I am NOT getting into that thing!
You put me in there, and I'll scratch your faces off!" The guards payed no
heed. Hershey took a swipe at one of the guards, shredding his kevlar
uniform, and leaving deep scrapes. The guard showed no sign of pain
whatsoever. The other guard pulled out a tazer and used it to render
Hershey unconcious. The guard with the shreaded uniform carelessly threw
Hershey into the cage and slammed the door shut. The guards carried the
cage away.
"Can I interest you in a glass of wine? I had it made five-hundred
years ago." said Agress.
	"No thank you." said Robotnik.
"I have something you might find of interest..." said Agress.

Sullen Castle, Agress' office.
	8:20pm (12:21pm Sullenian time)

Agress' office was well stocked, and it had a proffessional look to
it. Agress sat down in his chair, booted up his computer, and brought up a
diagram.
	"What is that?" asked Robotnik.
"This is the process which allows the creation of the virus I showed
you. I have it all memorized, that's how I made the pathogen I showed you.
It's very simple, once you know how it's done. Even that animal could do
it."
"The Freedom Fighters have a starknight. He'll cure it like it was a
cold virus." said Robotnik.
"This particular pathogen is immune to the healing powers of a
starknight." said Agress.
"What does the virus do?" asked Robotnik.
"It's rather... amusing. It weakens the host's cell production and
accelerates cell death, thus making the host's natural healing abilities use
less. It also damages the host's immune system." said Agress "It'll turn
that troublesome hedgehog into a pile of stinking sludge."

Sullen Castle, kennels.
	10:13pm (2:14am Sullenian time)

Hershey awoke the sound of barking. She tried to stand up, but hit
her head on the top of the cage. She had a terrible headache. The
overpowering smell of excrement filled the air. Hershey was almost ready to
vomit. Hershey saw a human enter the room pushing a cart.
"Feeding time!" shouted the human. The sounds got louder. Hershey
didn't recognize the sounds, but they were frightening. The human pushed
the cart by all of the other cages. Hershey didn't see the human untill he
was in front of her cage. The human took something from the cart and put it
through the slot under her bars. It was uncooked red meat. Hershey backed
away from the meat, as that the only meat she was acustomed to eating was
cooked fish. Hershey heard Agress entering the room, recognizing his
footsteps. Agress picked up the cage with one hand, and carried it out the
door.
"What are you going to do with me?!" shouted Hershey. Agress didn't
answer.

Dreadmire swamp
	11:58pm (3:59am Sullenian time)

Upon ariving at Dreadmire swamp by foot, Agress took a deep breath.
Hershey could tell that Dreadmire was not a good place just from the smell
of it.
"Before I let you out, I will tell you the rules." said Agress.
	"Go to H*ll!" shouted Hershey.
"Been there, done that!" said Agress "There are four pieces of a
scroll. The four pieces are on four stone pedestals. You must get all four
pieces, then read them aloud. This spell will teleport you to the one who
you first mated with."
	"That's it?" asked Hershey.
"Here's the map." said Agress, holding a map. Hershey went to take
the map, but Agress snatched it away. Agress opened the door of the cage.
"You'd best get going." said Agress. "Twenty..."
"But..." said Hershey. Robotnik pulled out a crossbow with a bolt
that had glowing green smoke coming from it's head.
"Nineteen..." said Agress. Hershey took off running. When Agress got
to fifteen, he signaled for Robotnik to start.
Hershey ran through the swamp blindly, noticing a blue light. Hershey
went to the light and saw a piece of parchment and grabbed it. It quit
glowing. Hershey could hear rustling in the bushes, so she took off
running. Hershey felt as if she were being watched by a huge crowd. The
darker it got, the more frightening the swamp became. Half an hour later,
Hershey saw another blue light. She went to grab it. As soon as she
grasped it, she felt something grip her leg. When she looked down, she saw
a vine wraped around her ankle. The harder she pulled, the harder the vine
pulled. The vine was trying to pull Hershey into the murky, stagnent pool.
Finally, Hershey started clawing at the vine. The vine released her
ankle.
"Two pieces down, two left..." Hershey whispered to herself. Hershey
went on.
About fifteen minutes later, Hershey saw another light, this one was
yellow. Hershey walked up to the light, it was another piece of parchment,
it was on the ground. Hershey went to pick up the piece of parchment, but
her instinct told her to leave it. Hershey thought about what Agress said,
and looked for a stone pedestal, but there wasn't one there. Hershey left
the piece where it was. Hershey Went further into the swamp and saw the
third piece. Hershey took the piece of the scroll and headed in the
direction of the last piece. Hershey made it to the last piece...
"This was too easy." said Hershey, as she picked up the last piece.
Hershey heard something run behind her. She turned
around and saw Geoffrey.
"What're you doing here, luv?" asked Geoffrey.
"What are YOU doing here?" asked Hershey.
"This is H*ll." said Geoffrey "This is where you get sent when you get
roboticized."
"This means I'm stuck here?" asked Hershey.
"I'm afraid so, but I can still get out." said Geoffrey.
"But you said I was your first..." said Hershey.
"I lied." Geoffrey interupted "Now give me the scroll."
"Wait a minute, you LIED to me?!" said Hershey "Geoffrey would NEVER
lie to me!" said Hershey.
"GIVE ME THE D*MN SCROLL, B*TCH!" shouted Geoffrey.
"Ooooh no!" said Hershey, smiling "I'm OUTA' here!"
"Kill her!" shouted Agress, coming out from the shadows. Hershey
looked at the scroll, and began to read it. She didn't recognize the
symbols, but she was still able to pronounce them.
Geoffrey aimed his crossbow at Hershey's head and fired.
Hershey had finished the scroll, then got hit in her right arm, and green
glowing smoke poured out of the cut. The scroll burst into flames, and
Hershey vanished.
"Looks like you blew it again, Julian." said Agress, chuckling.
"What's so funny?" asked 'Geoffrey', shapeshifting into Robotnik.
Agress held up an empty vial "We still got the big fish... The hedgehog."
Robotnik started laughing. Robotnik picked up the arrow. The arrow was
vibrating.
"It hit blood." said Robotnik "I think I might have got the cat after
all."

PART 2

Knothole subterraine, Geoffrey's chamber
	10:00am 11-18-99 E.D.E.

Geoffrey was sleeping in, enjoying a favorite dream. Hershey appeared
standing next to him.
"Thank goodness I'm not on that nightmare planet anymore!" said
Hershey, looking around Geoffrey's bedroom. "Geoffrey, is that you?!"
Geoffery woke up and yawned.
"Keep it down, Hersh. I'm trying to sleep." said Geoffrey, lying back
down. About fifteen seconds later, Geoffrey jumped out of his bed.
"Hershey!" said Geoffrey "I heard that you were roboticized!"
"I heard YOU were roboticized!" said Hershey. Hershey tried to hug
Geoffrey, but her right arm was limp.
"Something's wrong with my arm!" said Hershey "Is there a doctor
here?!"
	"Yes." said Geoffrey.

Knothole subterraine, infirmery
	10:23am

Geoffrey and Hershey walked into the infirmery.
"Alright, what can I do for you two?" asked Doctor Quack.
"Hershey has a cut on her arm." said Geoffrey. Doctor Quack examined
the cut.
"You should have gotten here a few days ago! This limb is badly
infected. " said Doctor Quack "You're one of my brother's patients, have you
seen him recently?"
"No, I haven't. and this cut just happened a few minutes ago." said
Hershey, whimpering.
"Recently, there have been a lot of strange diseases going around."
said Doctor Quack.
"There's glowing green smoke coming out of it!" said Hershey. Hershey
began to panic.
"I'll put some antiseptic spray on it." said Doctor Quack, spraying
Hershey's arm with an antibiotic. There was a commotion in the messhall

Knothole subterraine, messhall
	10:31am

Travis' fiance Jackie Mhortek, A former general of Robotnik, was
arguing with Nack...

"Get this f*cking b*tch out of here... NOW!!!" shouted Nack "Or I'll
throw'er out myself!"
"You're that little lying pusbag weassel! I paid you eighty thousand
credits to get a supply of health supplies... and you gave me a box of
sawdust!" shouted Jackie.
"You asked for a medi-kit box, not its' contents!" shouted Nack.
"That was implied, fuzzball!" shouted Jackie.
"Yer lucky I left my pistol in my room, or I'd blow your d*mn head
off!" shouted Nack.
	"Dishonest little bastard!" shouted Jackie.
"Just like your whole d*mn race!" shouted Nack "I could kick your
sorry a** in a heartbeat. Oopse, I forgot, overlanders don't have hearts!"
"C'mon, punk! You couldn't fight your way out of a wet paper bag!"
shouted Jackie.
"The bigger they are, the harder they fall!" said Nack, jumping at
Jackie's throat. Jackie cought Nack by his neck. Nack started biteing at
Jackie's arms and wrists. Sally walked in.
"Both of you! Stop this instant!" shouted Sally. Jackie and Nack
stood up.
"Nack! I expected more out of you than this!" shouted Sally "And
Jackie, I thought you were staying on Earth."
"Travis, Detrao, Detrax, and I are here to help you deal with
Robotnik." said Jackie "We also got you some food." Nack frowned.
"Look, I know you guys don't like me very much, but I know more about
Robotnik than you do." said Jackie.
"Of course you do! He's your uncle!" shouted Nack.
"I think everyone here already knows that." said Jackie.
"I hate overlanders! Always have, always will!" shouted Nack. Travis
walked into the messhall with a large paper bag full of baking supplies.
"Then I suppose you won't be wanting any of these spring rolls, since
they were made by overlanders." said Travis.
	"Ahem..." said Nack "I... er..."
"Be careful of what you say, you might regret it later on." said
Travis.
	"Travis!" said Bunnie.
"I didn't forget you." said Travis, reaching into the bag.
"What is she doing here?" asked Bunnie.
"She's here to help." said Sally. Travis handed a small box of blond
hair color to Bunnie. Bunnie went to the underground river to get the fur
on her hand back to normal. Detrao and Detrax walked in carrying three bags
of groceries each.
	"Hi, princess hamster." said Detrao.
"Just what we need..." said Sally.
"Groceries! You need groceries!" said Detrax. Doctor Quack walked in
and looked at Travis.
"We've got a serious problem in the infirmery, and we need you
there now." said Doctor Quack.

Knothole subterraine, infirmery
	10:50am

Hershey was biteing down on a wash towel to keep from screaming.
"Do you think you can stop this?" said Doctor Quack, pointing at
Hershey's arm, which was emmitting glowing green smoke. The arm was almost
skeletal, with rotting flesh and muscle tissue beginning to slough off
"Whoa! That looks like a wound caused by a deathmetal blade." said
Travis. Travis put his hands above the infected shoulder. The wound quit
smoking "I don't think I can do anymore for it as far as repair."
"At least you got it to quit smoking. That smoke smelled like burning
sulfur."
"Man, I wish I would have been here earlier. that arm looks prety
bad." said Travis. Doctor Quack frowned.
"I'm going to loose it, aren't I?" said Hershey, starting to cry.
"I'm afraid I am going to have to amputate it." said Doctor Quack.
	"No..." said Hershey.
"There's nothing left of it." said Travis.
"I've been working on a device that might be able to help you." said
Rotor, turning away from an x-ray machine "I've got a swatbot arm that I
could resize to fit your shoulder."
"A robotic arm won't help." said Hershey "It'll never be normal.
It'll never be able to sense warmth. And anything I pick up will get
crushed." Detrax was sitting in a chair playing with a thermometer.
"Put that down! You're going to drop it!" said Doctor Quack.
"Here." said Detrax, handing the thermometer to Doctor Quack. Doctor
Quack took the thermometer, but droped it.
"And you thought I was going to be the one to drop it." said Detrax.
"I need to get something." said Doctor Quack, leaving the room.
"Detrax, could I examing your arm to see how it works?" asked Rotor.
"Sure, just get it back to me when you're done looking at it." said
Detrax. There was a clicking sound, then Detrax took off his right arm.
"What was that sound?" asked Rotor.
"It's a lock mechanism. It keeps my arm from falling off, unless I
want to take it off." said Detrax, handing his right arm to Rotor "The hand
is coated with a long-life silicone that feels like flesh. It contains
preassure sensors, heat sensors, and even pain sensors, but I keep the pain
sensors turned off most of the time. There are twelve central processors in
the upper arm, and fourty-five muscle wires across the fingers."
"I used schematics from high-tech prosthetic limbs." said Travis.
"Though I'm not exactly sure if it will work as well as a real arm in an
organic life form."
"What are muscle wires?" asked Rotor.
"When you run voltage across them, they contract." said Travis.
"Cool!" said Rotor "Do you have any leftover musclewire?" asked Rotor.
"No." said Travis "I have to order it from a catalog.
"What about my old arm?" said Detrax.
"I don't know, it never worked right. I suppose if we worked on it we
might be able to get it to work." said Travis
"What did you do with it?" asked Detrax.
"It should be in that cabinet behind the basement stairs." said
Travis. Hershey stifled her crying.
"What's wrong with the prosthetic arm?" asked Hershey.
"It locks up sometimes. If you move it wrong, it'll freeze up for
about thirty seconds. I think it's something with its programming." said
Travis.
	"Programming?" asked Hershey.
"Yes. It needs special programming to be compatible with a robot
brain. I'll probably end up taking out a lot of parts. With a little work,
We should be able to get it to work for you." said Travis.
"I hope it works." said Hershey "By the way, what's your name?"
	"Travis Torric." said Travis.
"How did you heal my arm?" asked Hershey.
"I'm a starknight." said Travis "And in about an hour that shoulder's
gonna' hurt like a mouth full of root cannals.
Doctor Quack came into the room with a rotary saw. "I'm sorry I have
to do this, but this needs to be done. This is going to hurt a bit."
"I understand." said Hershey with tears in her eyes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, I admit that having Hershey lose her arm wasn't the kindest thing in
the world, but hey! I don't ever recall anyone saying life was fair, and if
someone did say life was fair, then that person obviously belongs in a
mental institution.

Well, I'd better get out of here before someone calls the A.S.P.C.A. on me
and gets me hauled of to prision.

Later!
