Final Fantasy 8 Magic List

In Final Fantasy 7, Magic is learnt by obtaining Materia and mastering them by gaining AP. In Final Fantasy 8, all Magic is drawn from enemies or draw points, as soon as you obtain a Guardian Force (GF). Certain enemies hold different magic spells, and draw points recharge the same spell at their locations at various times. Some recharge instantly, while others don't recharge for God knows how long. Furthermore, FF7 uses magic by consumption of MP. FF8 has a magic count. The more you draw, the more times you can use the spell you got. No MP. However, the disadvantage is that you can only hold 100, and certain spells you may require exist in rare monsters or one-time bosses (such as GFs). Luckily, most spells are recycled from FF7, so you'll find many spells familiar. The new ones such as Aura, Levitate, Holy, Water, and Tornado adds more variety to the battlefield gameplay of FF8.
