Stix

Enter the world of Stix... but stay alert. The Stix must traverse across several different landscapes to approach their goal, but they don't seem too interested in the scenery. As a matter of fact, they don't seemed interested in much of anything -- they're not too bright. Think Lemming-like stick-figures in MZX.

Your objective is to guide as many Stix () as you can to the exit portal, avoiding obstacles, such as water (Stix can't swim), long drops, spikes, and others.

Play is perhaps most similar to Creepers (a game by Psygnosis). Players place various tools from their limited toolbox, and the Stix wander around interacting with them, until they either are destroyed or make it to the exit.

A little bit of history:
I thought up the idea of Stix in the Summer of '98. It started out as a small game where you guided stick-figure people around a small screen, manipulating them with different objects - bombs, fans, magic potions. I called it "Plotless" (for obvious reasons). Later, I toyed with the idea of making a more serious MZX project out of it. Much later after that, I actually began work, and begun the Stix engine.
Here I'll give credit where it is due: The actual name "Stix" was thought up by Newt a few years ago... and Stix was actually inspired by the early construction of ZEM... although it has always been quite different from that game, really. :)
