Xxanthis is an elder orb that has an established a lair about 1 mile outside of Cavern Asnir. His lair is a normal beholder lair, similiar to those found everywhere. The central cavern is found in the middile of a maze of caverns. The tunnels are rigged with traps, most of these are normal pit trap. Also Xxanthis has placed mirriors all throughout the caverns. This allows him to use his powers around a corner, or even several corners, without coming under direct attack.
In addition to the death tyrants, Xxanthis has enslaved three tribes of kolbolds. These are put to work digging new tunnels and pits in the maze. They also keep their masters home quite clean, for if they do not they know they will die. Xxanthis keeps these creatures around for that convienent snack when he gets hungry.
