Irvine is a well-liked young Galbaldia Garden Student. It is rumored that he isn't, but has something to do with them. He dresses like a cowboy and uses a shotgun. He joins Squall later in the game and IMO, he looks like he wants to hit on the girls of the party at first. We do not know how instrumental Irvine is to the story yet.
