*SPOILER* DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED FINAL FANTASY VII!!! I MEAN IT!

The japanease version of FF7 was unfinished, as you might know by now. An unfinished yet important part of the game was missing: Aerith's resurrection. She gets killed by Sepiroth before disc 2. And you have to revive her. Only the people at square got a bit lazy and cut the work on that off so they can release it on Jan 1, 1996. Why didn't they finish it off and be proud of themselves? There was a reason. Thanks to the popular and most plagrised Final Fantasy 7 fan, Yukiyoshi Ike Sato, I found out.

Just a few weeks before the release date, the people at Square decided to ADD Tifa to the whole thing. There was only Aerith at the beginning. Then they thought of killing her and go on with the rest of it with Tifa. With immediate desperation the programming crew of 200 went to work but alas, no one can do it faster :( They had no choice but to release it unfinished since the fans were waiting for a long time.

However, the so called US version comes out Sept 7, 1997 -- that's a extra heap of time to finish it off and not just sit there and rumage through some tyke's damn shorts feeling sorry for themselves. And yes, the US version is finished so everything like bugs and the revival are all fixed.

P.S.:I think Aerith's prettier than Tifa, personally. Tifa looks like a tomboy with big ones, while Aerith is the decent, beautiful, and demere young woman Cloud would rather have a crush on.
