Just 7 years after the fall of Sephiroth.........
"Where are we?" Tifa turned and looked towards Cloud. "Don't you remember? Were in Nibelhiem." Cloud looked confused as he scratched his head. "What?" Cloud said. "Yepp thats right Nibelhiem, we got here a few hours ago." Tifa replied, answering nicely but a little confused with Cloud's lack of knowledge to where they have been for the last three hours. "Then that must have been a dream." Cloud said as he looked around him. "A dream?" Tifa didn't understand what he was saying but most of the time lately, she didn't. "What is happening to you? You dream all the time recently." "I have no idea. And the dreams are becomer more real all the time." While talking he turned his head and looked towards his house. "Is this my house? What happened to it?" Tifa looked cross eyed at Cloud. "It was demolished when the Turks found out that it had some remaining spirits of the followers of Sephiroth left in it." "Turks ehh. They never go away." The two started walking towards the newly remodeled "Nibelhiem Mansion." "They sure did a good job of fixing this old dump up." Tifa said. "Yeah. I liked it better the other way though. It gave a spooky feel to it but now Vincent seems not as mysterious as he used to when the mansion was a scrap pile." Cloud said while looking at Tifa to see what she would think of the reply. "Well all I have to say is that Sephiroth turned crazy in there and Vincent was experimented in there. That place gives me the creeps." Cloud looked at his arm. "Your right, but it all started there. Vincent is alot stronger now and so are we." "Let's go to sleep now I am tired."
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!" "No! get away!" A dark figure loomed over Cloud with a Masamune in his hand. You have failed me......... You have failed me............ You have failed me............ "What are you saying, who is that. Get away!" It is I Sephiroth....... You have failed me and now you will pay................................. Just then Cloud woke up only to find himself flat on the floor. "Huh? It was only a dream..." "Might as well get out of bed and head out to the "Shuriken Moon." The Shuriken Moon was a boat that Tifa picked up on her way to Mideel, where she ran into a old man who was headed there and didn't even know about the destruction of the almost desolate town. "Hey Cloud bring some rope. We have to tie her up when we get to the port." Cid said to Cloud. Cid who was now a direct leader of a new band of "Airship Pirates" called the "HighFlyers." It was not a name that all the members wanted but of course Cid didn't care and named them that anyways. "Alright. Where is it?" Cloud replied. "Look in the inn. The owner has some we can take." Cloud came back with the rope and handed it off to Cid. "Ok guys. Listen up." Cid being the,"High Cmmander",ordered. "Ok we got a call from a man at the Gold Saucer that there has been some commotion going on there. Some thiefs or something. They are supposed to be tough and smart so we have to go by water to suprise them. Cloud, Tifa, and I will make the ground assault team the rest stay in the boat." "Ok were off to the Gold Saucer."
"Whoa! Be careful with that we don't want to tip this pile of junk over now do we?" Cid said looking towards a sailor, meddling with the controls like a fool. "No Sir!" " Ok that is better. Now get to work and don't let me see you snoozing on the job. I've had it up to here with you freaks who call yourselves pilots." Cid scorned. "Man Cid acting all bad with the little sailors huh? I guess you can't handle a real job like actually piloting it yourself." Cloud said. The crew laughed, teasing the old pilot. "I can pilot three times as good as anyone aboard this ship." "I'll even show ya." Cid walked up to the pilot and shoved him aside grabbing the controls. "Watch and learn rookies. Don't let ladies do a man's job." Cid piloted the Shuriken around rocks and in circles, doing moves only a experienced pilot could do. "How do you like that, Spike?" "Not bad Cid, Not bad....laughing under his breath and whispering. Only a child would go against a one year rookie in a piloting 'contest'." Cloud said while looking at Tifa. "What was that Cloud? Did I hear something?" "Nothing Cid nothing at all."
"We are almost there. Get ready for docking." The crew took their positions and docked the boat near the newly built dock by the desert. " Well men stay alert and if anyones comes out of the Saucer then stop them from leaving." "We are going to have to take the 'Land Buggy' over the desert now." Cloud told them. "Ok I will set her up." Cid said, walking towards the nearly totaled 'Land Buggy' that they bought from a man in Nibelhiem. "So Cloud, What were all your dreams about?" Tifa asked. "Well. It's wierd. Today I had a dream that Sephiroth came and said 'You have failed me......' I don't understand it." Cloud looked to see if Tifa had thought of something to explain the dream. Tifa replyed, "Mmmmmmmm.... All I can say that it is only a dream and don't worry about it." "Well they seem so real." Cloud said. "Don't worry." Tifa walked away seeming disturbed. "Lets go guys the 'Land Buggy' is ready to roll."
"Ohh. Man.. This place is creepy without all the 'Wackos' playing games all the time." Tifa looked around in fear. Why should she be afraid? She is tough isn't she? Well lately she has been having problems with her skills. SLASH!! CHING! "Back off punk! Your messing with me on the wrong day!!" Tifa said while counterattacking a guy in a red suit with a sword! OOOOOOHHHHHFFF!!! The man fell to the ground with a great THUMP! "Just remember that next time you try to sneak up on a lady with a attitude!" Tifa said while laughing. Cid walked along the raceway, checking for criminals. Cid had aquired a good weapon along their journey to save the planet, the Venus Gospel. But he to had troubles with his skill lately. "So where are these so called smart, tough criminals?" Cid said sarcastically. "Hey you!" A voice said from behind Cid. "Whaa?" Cid said. "Yeah you. You think were weak? We'll show you!" Three red suited men came out with guns. BANG! BANG! "ooooohhhhhh......" The bullets went right into Cid's leg. "Don't mess with the 'Outsiders'." The men walked back into the darkness that they once came out of. : : : : : :
The arena sure brought back memorys for Cloud. Fighting here gaining points to get items. "I hope everyone else is ok." Cloud said. "So you came....." "Huh?" Cloud replyed. "You don't know me, yet but soon you will fear my name. Logan." "Logan? Who are you?" Cloud still couldn't see the man's face. "My name's Logan and I'm the leader of the group the 'Outsiders'. I am here to destroy you." Logan said. "Well I'm not losing without a fight!" Cloud pulled his sword out. Logan seemed to have a gun. "HaHaHAAA! You fool. A sword? Against a gun?" Logan laughed. "Swords are a MAN'S tool. Let's go!" Cloud ran towards him. Logan pulled his gun and shot. A miss! Cloud had the chance. But just then Logan pulled a knife and stabbed Cloud in the arm. "You....." Cloud slashed Logan with his sword and Logan fell dead. "Who was that? my arm...."
Cloud, Cid, and Tifa all gathered back up. "Cid! Your leg!" Tifa looked at Cid's torn through leg. "Yes.. I had to crawl here." "Cloud! Your arm!" Tifa looked at Cloud's stabbed arm! "Yep.. Me too! Mine isn't to bad." Cloud said while looking at his arm. "Mine I'm afraid is. I'll have to go back to the ship for treatment." All three left and Cid was out of the picture.
"So. What are we going to do now?" Cloud asked. "Welll......" Just then Cloud fell to the floor.
"oooooooohhhhhhh.....:-( My head....." Cloud said. "Where am I?" Cloud was in a dream. A very bad dream. "Hello.. Welcome to your doom." Sephiroth said. "Sephiroth?" Cloud looked as a man, Sephiroth, came towards him. "I am sorry to bother you Cloud but I had to test your strength before I brought you here." Sephiroth told him. "A test? What test?" "The test you just took. Your arm. The 'Outsiders'. It was all a test." Cloud looked at his arm. It was fine. "I bet you are wondering why your partners strength has been draining." "Yes I have. Why?" Cloud said. "Well I have taken them through the LifeStream. Which I am now a part of." Sephiroth took a look at two exact clones of him, beside him. "These are my brothers. They have came to replace you. They will kill you and take over your life as you. And no one will suspect that it isn't you." Sephiroth told him. "The LifeStream gave me the power to create them two." The two clones came towards Cloud with masamunes. "That's it! You are not taking my life." Cloud took his sword and battled them. SLASH! CHING. "HaHaHa. You are weak Cloud very weak!" Cloud stepped back. "You are underestimating me!!" Cloud took his sword and with all his energy emitted a green material into his sword and slashed through the clones with ultimate force. The tow clones fell. At the same time Sephiroth dissolved. "I did it!! I used the lifestream to my advantage!!" The power was restored. Cloud found that his destiny lied in the helping of his friends and had to do what he could to make that come true. Sephiroth used the LifeStream to try to erase life. Cloud used it to restore life. No matter what the LifeStream is a powerful force of LIFE.
