As the Earth was invaded by other realities, it created its own defenders. A small percentage of men and women were able to maintain their hold on Earth's reality, despite the influx of these other realities.

With this special attribute, these men and women wre able to stand in defense of Earth. They became heroes of whom stories were told. The invaders caled them "stormers," but that derogatory term was changed to "Storm Knights" early in the war.

These Storm Knights were not only able to pass across reality borders, but were also able to make tools work in lands where they would otherwise cease to function. They also had an innate ability to "bend" reality to their ends - almost like exceedingly good luck. Through this, they were able to overcome great odds and accomplish great feats.

These abilities are accomplished through the manipulation of possibility energy. The Earth is very rich in this energy. It is this energy that is desired by the invading High Lords, and this energy which is used by Storm Knights in their defense of their land.

Storm Knights are found from all walks of life, male and female, and from all over the world. Some have come from other realities and have joined Earth's cause.
