Magic Axiom: 0 | Tech Axiom: 7 |
Spirit Axiom: 24 | Social Axiom: 7 |
"The Lost World," "The Land that Time Forgot," these are representative of what the Living Land is about. No magic, no weapons more advanced than spears, no society beyond tribes, with dinosaurs thrown in for flavor. The main addition to this realm that makes it so interesting is the presence of the Edeinos and their goddess, Lanala. They worship life and living things, experiences and sensations. Lanala is close to her followers, so they may call on her miracles for almost any purpose and at any time.
Baruk Kaah is the edeinos leader who brought his tribes across realities. With the aid of his Darkness Device, Rec Pakken, he made rapid headway in his invasion. When the land began to lose ground, Rec Pakken and Baruk Kaah split, and the realm was without a High Lord.
The Social axiom in the Living Land supports little more than a loose tribal system. Baruk Kaah pushed the axiom to its limits in organizing the edeinos to attack Core Earth. there is no sense of time, of history, or of government. Core Earth troops caught in Living Land axioms have trouble maintaining the ideas of armed forces or organized military attacks.
The Living Land has no magic at all.
The Spirit axiom is the heart of the Living Land and the closeness of Lanala is the driving force behind Edeinos "society." Edeinos use miracles and worship for all aspects of their lives. Edeinos use miracles in combat to enhance all their senses and their physical abilities.
The technology axiom is very low, retricting Living Land denizens to a hunting and gathering society, using spears and crude tools as weapons.
There weren't really World laws, per se, in the original text. We can interpret the Laws from what is written.
TheDeep Mist
All of the Living Land is covered with a thick mist which obscures vision reducing visibility to 20-30 meters. The Mist also affects a person's sense of direction, making it difficult not to become lost. Compasses do not function, even for p-rated characters.
Lanala's Love of LifeSince Lanala promotes the love of living things, the Deep Mist carries with it a mystic corrosiveness. Any items which are not living will rot quickly in the Living Land. Most objects will decay in anywhere from a minute to a day. Synthetic and metal items, which were never alive, are not subject to this rot.
Law of Lost ValuablesIt is the nature of the realm that small items will be lost over the course of an adventure. Almost any situation where there is activity can result in items falling and being lost in the mist.
