SPACE GODS

Magic Axiom: 7Tech Axiom: 30
Spirit Axiom: 13Social Axiom: 26
The "Space Gods," or Akashans, have made their home in South America, expanding across the continent. Their unique method of creating reality zones allows them to spread freely and with less structure than other realities.

About Tharkold

The Akashans are latecomers to the Wars, and are not invaders at all. Having been inadvertantly signaled by Storm Knights using the Signal Fire, they arrived on Earth in spaceships hoping that Earth would hold the key to solving their own problems. Once they saw the situation, they decided to stay and provide aid, although their generally pacifistic and non-confrontation natures have prevented them from having much effect on the War's progress.

The leader of the Akashans, Rotan Ulka, is a wise and peaceful man. He may not actually be the most powerful figure in the Akashan hierarchy. A bioengineer named Sarila has created an intelligent virus called the Comaghaz which creates a group consciousness among all of those infected. Sarila controls this mass intelligence, and can control the infected like puppets, until the virus kills them. Her army of Comaghaz slaves makes her very powerful.

The social axiom of Akasha is a very hig 27, indicating that their society has progressed far beyond contemporary Earth. The Akashans live in harmony with one another. They do have a slight superiority complex when dealing with other races, though.

The spirit axiom is high enough to support the Akashan ideal that all deities are just facets of Apeiros or the Nameless One, and as such they can all coexist freely. However, those following this faith do not depend on powerful miracles to support their belief.

The Star Sphere's interstellar capabilites are indicative of their tech axiom of 30. They have made extensive use of biotechnologyin all areas of their existence, including their space craft. Their technology is "clean" and is friendly to the environment.

The magic axiom is low, representing the fact that the Akashans have little knowledge of magic. Psionics has supplanted the study of magic in their development.

Star Sphere World Laws

The Way of Zinatt

This is a philosophical World Law which affects all actions in its areas of influence. It divides those who follow the philosophy into Coar, Aka, and Zinatt - corresponding loosely to aggressiveness, introspection, and neutrality, respectively. Skills and uses of possibility energy are affected by a person's alignment under the Way of Zinatt.

The Law of Religious Compatibility

This is as much an effect of the Spiritual Axiom as a World Law. The Akashan belief system contends that all religions are part of the cosmverse and are aspects of Apeiros or the Nameless One. Therefore, none is dominant over another. Within Akashan relams, there is no spiritual conflict, miracles may be used freely, and characters of differnet religions may work together to perform miracles.

The Law of Acceptance

Since the Akashan culture has achieved a state of harmony, they can easily assimilate the beliefs of others into their own structure. As a result, characters within Akashan realms are always subject to both their own World Laws and the World Laws of their location, without contradiction. This affects only World Laws - axiom based contradictions can still occur.
