Jess is one of the players who helped establish the FC Elfland in 1997. Jess has been one of the defenders who stood in the defend line of FCE squad for a long long time. He is a player who likes playing football much, and also has strong faith in helping FCE to acheive better result. He keeps his conditions quite good throughout the whole season and also across these years, however, some critics commented that his technique seems to be improving in a slow rate. But he is very confident to play better with FCE.
Jess is famous for having strong strengh when competing close with attackers. Being the sweeper, he is good at blocking the way or the rountine where the opponents can go throught. However, at the same position, many had been commenting that his intiuiton of clearing the ball is not solid enough, even thought he did very well in clearing ball. In assisting, his long ball always hits the nail on its head. He can curve the ball well in shooting, but it's not powerful enough. Defence is usually the dead point of FCE, if Jess improves with our defenders together, then everything will be different. |
