†hë ƒêè£é®§ Reviews

So yeah these aren't like those lurvely articulated scholar english ones on the official site but they're from what my friends say and I've heard about and stuff like that.

Friday Powerstation Gig

Okay a review. *sigh* Might take awhile and sound weird but here goes nothing.
My friend, Louise, and I got to the concert about 7ish and everyone was waiting outside in the cold wind. Why I don't know but we snuck in past all them and went and gave our tickets to the guy and got our stamps. It was here that Lou hit me and said Matt just walked in past us. I'm a new fan so I can't actually recognise them that quickly but she said he did so I guess he did.
We went inside and at that time, it was only just beginning so everyone was sort of in groups round the edge with about 20 people actually standing by the stage. Suckers. It took about another 30mins before the first band came on. I missed there name (and most of the lyrics) cause they were well, loud. They were quite good but it was a pity they came out first cause the crowd didn't really get worked up with them and I think they felt kinda stink. I thought they were kinda cows too cause we saw one in the toilets and said they were good and she was like "ughmmgh" and walked off.
Anyway the next band after that were Dark Tower (I think) and I thought they were quite good. A few more people went up to the front when they came on and a small mosh began. Not much though. I thought Dark Tower was quite hilarious at one point. One of the guys thought he was hot shit and the girls were all round the stage near him and he was dancing round them and teasing them by putting his body JUST out of reach of them...he was quite funny really. They were on for awhile and then left.
After that (a looooooonnnng time after that) Breathe made their way out onto the stage. This was where the crowd really woke up. I mean, everyone was in, doors shut and the atmosphere had become really live. A decent mosh pit began when Breathe came on. I mean, it was still quite small but was better than the Dark Tower one. Breathe was really good cause they are quite well known and everyone was singing along and moshing to their music. They got the crowd really moving and by the time The Feelers came out everyone was going crazy.
The Feelers came out quite late in the show. I mean, nearly 11pm before they managed to make the stage which I thought was quite bad cause we were leaving at midnight. They were AMAZING! I mean, they have such great stage presense and everything. James was wearing this black PVC like suit which I thought absolutely rocked. They began with ummm *mind is blurred too much* a song hehe and went on to sing a whole lot of other ones of their cd plus others as well. The mosh was great, the upstairs looked pretty moving and everyone sounded like they had a great time.
About 11:40pm my friend and I exited the mosh (man was that the struggle of the century) and went and got drinks. Then we sat and watched the rest of what we were able to see till 12. We had to leave just as James begun a song with Tim, the mystery Feeler. We were sitting next to the funniest guys. They were English I think, cause they had really cool Pommy accents. They were kinda cynical as well cause they were going "oh I guess he's going to play Venus now" in their accents. I started chatting to my friend in their accent and she was soooo pissed off. We had to leave at midnight and when we did they yelled out "bye". I shouted back bye in my lurvely accent. hehehe was funny.
So yeah, that's my Feelers experience. It was a heap of fun and I hope they have more concerts as cheap as that.
