Back at the Highwind, where Lucrecia had come back minutes after.Vincent had brought Lucrecia home with him. Sephiroth had gone to tell the rest of the group of Shera's latest plan, and to assist Yuffie in stealing fresh materia as well. Vincent is in his room, reading (ironically) Dracula.
Lucrecia: (walks into Vincent's room ) Vince, you okay?
Vincent: Yeah Rukre. (puts down the book ) I see you are walking better now.
Lucrecia: Yeah. It doesn't hurt anymore. ( stays silent )
Vincent: Hmmm...
They are silent for awhile. Then Lucrecia speaks up.
Lucrecia: You know, I envy Shera in a way.
Vincent: (looks at her ) Why?
Lucrecia: Well, because she's in love with Cid, and she confessed it to hm. Now that took guts.
Vincent: But she said it to save her life.
Lucrecia: I know. And she had guts to speak to him afterwards. I wish...I wish I had her strength...
Vincent: (eyes widen ) Strength? For what?
Lucrecia reaches for Vincent's claw-hand. Somehow, caressing the nails made her feel better. She stops.
Lucrecia: I'm sorry Vincent. I just love your hand. Do you feel anything in this hand?
Vincent: (smiling softly ) Aya, of course Rukre.
Lucrecia: Can you feel this? (squeezes his claw hand )
Vincent: Yes. (thinks ) It turns me on...
Vincent looks at Lucrecia. She was as beautiful as she was when he had first fallen in love with her. Now his feelings for her were growing stronger by the minute.
Vincent: Ay, Rukre, why do you like my hand so much?
Lucrecia: (shrugs ) I don't know. I guess I just do.(caresses index finger nail ) To be honest, it kind of relaxes me. (thinks ) And it gives me sweet pleasure...
Vincent: (makes a fist with his other hand ) Give me just one minute with Hojo and I'll kick his @$$ for doing this to my arm.
Lucrecia stops caressing Vincent's index finger and stays silent as she remembers Hojo, Sephiroth's father, and a mad scientist. Vincent quickly picks up on it.
Vincent: Rukre, I didn't mean to...
Lucrecia: (looks at Vincent and shakes her head ) No, that's okay. Like you said, it's in the past. I've moved on.
Vincent: (surprised and a bit of hurt in his voice ) Moved on?
Lucrecia: Vince...I...oh never mind. (looks away )
Vincent: What? What is it? Rukre...
There is a loud crashing noise outside. Vincent and Lucrecia run outside. Once there, they find Sailors Mercury and Mars standing next to an unconscious young girl who looks about Yuffie's age.
Mars: Well, that takes care of that.
Mercury: Her man should be coming soon. Let's go!
They leave the girl on the ground. Vincent and Lucrecia rush over to her.
Vincent: Hey! Are you okay? Hey! (shakes the girl , then looks at Lucrecia ) Let's take her inside.
Lucrecia nods. She helps Vincent carry the girl inside. Once inside, they lay the girl on the living room couch. Lucrecia then brings some wet towels.
Vincent: She seems to be okay. (puts a damp towel on her forehead )
Lucrecia: I hope nothing serious happened to her.
The girl begins to come to.
Girl: Mmm...(opens eyes slowly )
Vincent: (relieved ) Hey there. Are you okay?
Girl: Hmm?...(tries to sit up, but then falls back ) Where am I?
Vincent: Take it easy. What's your name?
Girl: My name? (thinks, then puts her hands to her head ) Oww! (collapses over )
Vincent catches her. She immediately buries her face in his chest.
Vincent: Okay. Take it easy. You need to rest.
Girl: (breathing heavily ) Okay, (whispers ) Vincent...
Lucrecia: Why don't you take my room? I'm a guest too, but you seem to need it more.
Girl: (putting her hands on Vincent's chest ) But where will you stay?
Lucrecia: (shrugs ) Oh, I'll just sleep on the couch or on the floor. It doesn't matter.
Vincent: Rukre...
Lucrecia: (smiling ) It's okay Vince.
Girl: Thank you... (buries her face in his chest again )
Vincent: All right. I'll carry you over.
Vincent takes the girl in his arms. She giggles when she sees him smile for the first time. Lucrecia, however, thinks differently.
Lucrecia: (thinking ) Is it me, or is she getting just a little bit too close?
Vincent leans over and carefully places the girl on the bed.
Girl: Thank you sir.
Vincent: You are welcome.
Lucrecia: Well, good night miss.
Lucrecia leaves the room.
Vincent: Now I want you to feel at home, okay?
Girl: Okay. (stares at him )
Vincent: Good night.
Girl: Good night.
Vincent turns off the light to the room and walks out. He walks into the living room and finds Lucrecia throwing blankets and pillows on the floor.
Vincent: (crossing his arms ) Rukre, what are you doing? (taps his foot )
Lucrecia: Setting up my sleeping place.
Vincent: (shakes his head ) Nonsense! You go to my room immediately!
Lucrecia: Why?
Vincent: You sleep in my room.
Lucrecia: No, Vince, I can't!
Vincent: You go! (takes her hand and drags her to his room )
Lucrecia: Vince...I can't...
Vincent: You can...
Vincent manages to convince Lucrecia to sleep in his bed. As Lucrecia lay down, she sneaks a glance at Vincent, who was once again reading Dracula.
Lucrecia: (thinking ) He's so handsome. I can't forgive myself for what I did to him 5 years ago. But I can't help falling in love with him. Am I crazy? Or is this right? (looks at Vincent ) If he only knew how much I'm falling in love with him...I never thought it would happen...
She falls asleep. After awhile, Vincent falls asleep on the chair he was sitting on.
Lucrecia was frightened. She tries to move, but she can't.
Girl: He's all mine! (embraces Vincent)
Lucrecia: Vincent! No!
Girl: (laughs) Don't worry. I'll take good care of him! (casts a materia spell on Vincent)
Vincent: Rukre! Rukre!
Lucrecia: Nooo! Nooo! Ahhh!
Vincent: Rukre! Rukre! Wake up! (wakes her up )
Lucrecia: Ahhh! (opens eyes ) Vince?! (looks around ) Wha.... (embraces Vincent ) Oh Vince!!
Vincent: Rukre. It's okay. You were just having a nightmare.
Lucrecia: It was so real!
Vincent: Shhh, Rukre, it's okay.
Lucrecia: Yeah... (lets go of Vincent, takes his claw hand and caresses index finger nail to calm herself down ) Vince...I'm sorry for waking you up.
Vincent: It's okay. Try to get some sleep.
Lucrecia lay back down. She still felt uneasy.
Lucrecia: (thinking ) Is it just a nightmare?
Morning. Vincent and Lucrecia wake up very late. They walk over to the girl's room .
Vincent: Good morning, miss. Actually, good afternoon. (laughs ) It's 2:15.
Girl: Good morning sir. I feel much better now. Thank you again.
Vincent: I'm glad.
Lucrecia decides to get right to the point.
Lucrecia: (crossing her arms ) So, tell us, why were the sailor senshi after you?
Girl: I don't know. I was going to my sister's house when they just came and took me. Then they attacked me.
Vincent: (eyes widen ) They attacked you? Why?
Girl: I have no idea why.
Lucrecia: Wow! They're really something.
Girl: (stares at Vincent again ) Umm...sir, I like the way your hand looks. How'd you do that?
Vincent: (thinks , then says out loud ) Well, its a long story...
Lucrecia immediately swipes the claw hand and begins to play with the index finger nail.
Lucrecia: (thinking to herself ) My claw hand!
Vincent: So what's your name, miss? My name is Vincent Valentine and this is Rukreshia.
Girl: Pleased to meet you Vincent. My name is Selene.
Vincent: Serin?
Selene: SeLEne.
Vincent: SeRIne?
Selene: (giggles ) Selene, with an "l", not "r".
Vincent: Serii....ri...ahh! Se...ri...
Selene: Like this, liii. (they both laugh )
After a while, Vincent gives up. Lucrecia is annoyed.
Lucrecia: ( in an annoyed voice ) He pronounces my name with an "R" too.
Vincent: Ay, Rukre, what time is it?
Lucrecia: (checks her watch ) It's 3:10.
Vincent: (jumps up ) Holy $hit! We have to leave! Cid is waiting for us!
Lucrecia: (standing up ) What about Selene?
Vincent: Selene, do you want to come with us?
Selene: Sure! (gets up too )
Lucrecia: (holding his claw hand tight and making a possessive face ) Just take care of yourself, okay?
Selene: (picks up on her insecurity ) Okay...(smiles )
Meanwhile, Cid and Shera are making last minute adjustments in Shera's lab...
Shera: Cid, you got that radar device?
Cid: Yeah.
Shera: Sound chip?
Cid: Yeah Shera.
Shera: (sits down ) I still don't know why you won't let me do this.
Cid: Becasue, I don't want you to go through that again.
Shera: Go through what again?
Cid: (sits down next to her ) That torture. Sailor Mars' Flame Sniper looked pretty much painful.
Shera: (smiles ) I'm a big girl, Cid. I can take care of myself.
Cid: Goddammit woman! (embraces her ) That's what I love about ya! You're just as stubborn as me! (kisses her )
Shera smiles. Then she stands up.
Shera: Excuse me, Mr. Highwind, but it appears that you don't know a thing about picking up in your room. (walks over to Cid's room )
Shera begins to make his bed. Cid follows her into his room.
Cid: Shera!! Leave that there! You worry too much about how the damn house looks! (pulls her close )
Shera drops the blanket she is holding.
Shera: Cid...
An overwhelming sensation comes over Cid. He gently lays Shera on the bed and presses his lips onto hers. As the time goes on, the kisses become more passionate.
Shera: Cid... (gently pulling away )
Cid: Damn it woman! Let me kiss you! (begins to kiss her around her neck and behind her ears )

Cid: What's the matter? Am I goin' too fast?
Cid: Shera!! Leave that there! You worry too much about how the damn house looks! (pulls her close )

Barret: Speakin' of Shera, she's not here either! I'll bet she's wit' Cid!
Cloud: (sarcastically ) Oh yeah Barret, sure. They're making love right now. Not!!
Three hours pass, and Cid and Shera still hadn't arrived. Cloud is way beyond pissed. Marlene had even gone to sleep and woken up.
Barret: It's 6:30.
Cloud: I've tried calling him with the PHS, but he doesn't pick up.
Vincent: He's beyond late. (looks around and notices that Lucrecia is not around ) Serin, where's Rukre?
Selene: (shrugs ) Oh, I don't know. (thinks to herself ) She probably got jealous and left. Well, too bad, cause Vincent is MINE! (gets up and sits next to Vincent, where Lucrecia had been sitting )
Tifa: (throws up hands ) At this rate, we might as well surrender the planet!
Sephiroth: Vincent, where's my mama?
Cloud: Yo mama!
Sephiroth: Yo mama foo'! I wasn't even talking to you!
Cloud: Yo mama!
Sephiroth: Yo mama!
Vincent: Serin, since we have some time to talk, where are you from?
Selene: (smiling ) Well, I really don't have a home. I just travel from place to place.
Vincent: Oh. How old are you?
Selene: I'm 16 years old. I'll be 17 in a couple of months.
Vincent: I'm 27 years old.
Selene: (shocked ) 27? You don't look a day over 21!
Vincent: Thank you. Now I don't feel so old anymore. (they both laugh )
Selene: (thinks to herself ) Mission in effect! Good bye Lucrecia, and good riddance! Vincent Valentine is ALL mine!
The door suddenly flies open. It is Cid and Shera. They are both staggering in, and Shera trips on a chair leg. She stops dead in her tracks at the sight of Selene.
Shera: (thinking ) It can't be....
Cloud: Where the hell were you guys?
Shera: (searching for words ) Umm...uh...the equipment took long to hook up...yeah... (brief-case flies open by itself, and all her gadgets fall out )
Cid: (looks at Shera ) Yeah...
Cloud: Yeah whatever.... (slaps hand to forehead ) Where the hell is Lucrecia?
With Sailor Mercury...
Mercury: Everything is going according to plan (looks at her mini-computer ). Soon, AVALANCHE will be stopped and won't stand in our way anymore. Please wait for us, Sailor Moon.
