Illiana comes onto the docks, holding tightly to your hand

The sun has just barely risin casting it's warmth and light upon the docks of Dol Amroth. Gathered here is the party of questers bound by oath to the Prince to travel with his sister son to seek an ancient artifact that may offer hope to the West in their battle against the Shadow. Though the group has gathered, Imrahil has yet to make his appearance. Holding his wife's hand, Nials makes his way onto the dock, but remains apart from his traveling company to spend these last few moments with his wife.

Illiana is struggling to be strong and not weep before all those gathered even as her fingers go cold in her husband's grip

Turning to his wife, Nials looks into her eyes, "So beautiful" he says softly to her as he stores her image in his memory to hold him through this quest he is about to embark upon. His grasp tightens for a bit, then relaxes again.

Illiana presses her lips together at the compliment and blushes softly. Looking up into your eyes she struggles to smile. "I shall not cry. I have promised to myself that I shall not cry

Smiling at her words, Nials gently caresses her cheek with his free hand. "You have great strength my love," he whispers to her, "Strength enough to last while I am away. I shall return to you my love." his words pour confidently from his mouth.

Illiana nods, gazing into your eyes adoringly. "I.. never dreamed to be given such a gift as thee, husband. And I value thee above all, even my own existance." she draws a packet from her poket and presses it into your hand. "Be well, and safe.. I beg thee return to me

With a sudden flare of horns, The Prince approaches with his retinue of followers. Looking to her, Nials smiles, "I will return Illi," he says, "Nothing can separate us." Looking at her once, then tucking the packet into one of the pockets of his cloak, "I must leave my love," he says looking at Imrahil and Boromir. "Not that I want to, but ..." his last words cut off in the signalling blast of Boromir's horn.

Illiana nods quickly, knowing you must and feeling the prickling behind her eyes that herralds unwanted tears. "Kiss me then, quickly

Wrapping his arms about her, Nials draws her close for this kiss. His lips and arms hold her in place, drawing the kiss out much longer than quickly would suggest.

Illiana presses lips and body to yours, longing to breath her soul into you and send it along with you. Uncaring of eyes that watch she kisses you with all of her love.

Continuing to hold her for awhile longer, Nials finally releases her from his grip as he pulls back to look into her eyes, "I love you Illiana," he says softly and warmly to her, "don't forget me while I am gone."

Illiana sighs deeply, tears hovering unshed in her emerald eyes. "And I love thee, Nials.. more than ever I thought I could." she smiles, trying not to be sad in your eyes at this moment. "And I shall not forget thee, but pray for thee every hour

Stepping back from her, Nials holds her hand until the last moment when his reach passes it's limit. Stopping to look at her one last time the young lord turns finally and continues onto towards the ship, his form becoming quickly lost in the crowd.

Illiana watches until he is lost in the crowd then her breath catches and she turns, quickly pushing her way through the crowd as tears blur her vision and she flees the docks
