I mostly play Hellfire these days, although I sometimes
play Multi-Player Diablo on Battle-Net.
Of the new Hellfire Character Classes, I Like the Barbarian and Bard (the Easter
Egg Characters) Better than the Monk.
To Activate the Bard and Barbarian Classes (as well as the Other Easter Eggs),
You need to Place the Command.txt
File in Your Hellfire Folder.
Please Note that if You do Not Like any of the Easter Eggs, you can Delete the
Particular Trigger from your Command.txt File.
I have Installed the Patches Installed that Will Allow me to Play Multi-Player
Hellfire. I Play with the Varaya Mod on Kali.net
When I play With my Friends (King Jim and Cid).
Following are the Steps I took to get Multi-Player Capability.
Step #1: Install Hellfire.
Step #2: Download the 1.01 Update
and Install it Manually to your New Hellfire Installation. The Sierra
Site no longer has it in their files, but you can find it here
on my personal downloads page.
Step #3: Copy the Hellfire Folder.
Rename the Copy: HFMod
Step #4:Download
and Install the Bumper Pack to the Hellfire Installation that you Want to Make
Multi-Player. Step #5: Then go Here
And Download and Install the Varaya Mod to the Same Installation of Hellfire
that you Installed the Bumper Pack to.
You are Now Ready to Play Multi-Player Hellfire with the Varaya Mod.
Since Mods Changes the Name of the Game Files, DiabloBackup Does Not Work With
it. This is Unfortunate as DiabloBackup is the Best Backup Program Around. However,
Jeff (from the Message Board) Edited DiabloBackup so that it will work. You
Can get all of the Backup programs for both regular Diablo/Hellfire and the
VK Mod Here!
