Known to many as the Black Hand, the Sabbat is rumored ti have evolved form a medival death cult. Little of its nature has changed since then. It is the largest sect next to the Camarilla, and is aggressively attempting to increase its domain.
The Black Hand rules through fear, hatred, anger and physical violence. In North America, it holds undisputed control over Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and is close to gaining supremacy in Boston and Baltimore. Until recently, Miami was also under Sabbat control, But recent events have caused s swing in power Balance there.
Member of the Sabbat come form many different Blood-lines, though two Clans dominate the organization: The LASOMBRA and TZIMISCES. Though it may be possible to join the Sabbat , almost all members are created. The Black Hand requires strict devotion and adherence to the will of the group.
The Sabbat initiation Procedure is designed to destroy any vestigial will in any new Vampire. Initiates are slain, slowly and painfully, and then given the Blood. This Blood doesn't come form one member, but form as many as are present at the intiation, combine into a chalice. Once the initiate has been given the blood, he is buried alive, and must crawl out in order to live. Those who do not spend eternity buried under earth. The process of digging oneself from a grave tears the initiate's humanity form him and opens him to subjugation and brainwashing of the sabbat.
The LaSombra.The Lasombra...a clan of prestige in the Sabbat. They succeeded in destroying all of the founders and elders outside of its sect. The Lasombra clan is also the clan of leadership. They are some of the most ruthless and manipulative vampires in existence. They value strength and reward those who posses it. These have no reflections, and are a ruthless Clan obsessed with being the best. They prize success above all, but expect it done with style and finesse. One IS a LaSombra after all... Once this Clan were acknowledged as powers behind thrones, advisors to the powerful until a childe of LaSombra allied with the Anarchs and Diablerized his Sire. The remaining LaSombra mostly joined Gratiano and with the Tzimisce, became the Sabbat. |
The Tzimisce.Other Vampires calls them fiends, they are Twisted, brilliant, evil, territorial, and very very sick. Able to flesh craft themselves and others, they pride themselves on their lack of human emotions and are extremely selective in their Childer. Long ago the Tzimisce began breeding the ghoul families, many of whom are extinct now. Those that remain followed their regnants to the Sabbat. Very long ago a Tzimisce Methusalah exploring the Deep Umbra with the Euthanatos became infected with a Vicissitude Souleater and infected much of his Clan before his demise. Because of this and the Vaulderie, most of the Sabbat is infected with Vicissitude, a parasitic creature that eventually takes over its host. |
So in my opinion is that this bastards are really insane, just because they don't respect any territory and honesty I don't like crazy bastards running around making crazy rites all over the woods where I rest and feed.
And to talk about the other clans that form the sabbat, I know only a few things. The other clan I think that there are some assamite antitribu, toreador antitribu, Followers of set, and some more I don't know for sure.
The Assamites.I only heard that Clan is divided. and what I heard about these guys through a friend in that this bunch are really assassins of Hassan-i-sabah, made immortal by their undead master, and carrying on his secret plans for world domination. As far as I'm concered, this guys sound pretty Dangerous when they want to be. |
The Ravnos.Some of this bastards are with the sabbat, but both , not sabbat and sabbat Ravnos are real bastards. As difficult as it may sound these sleazy bastards manage to give both Gypsies and Gangrel a bad name, The older Gangrel tell of a fiery Gypsy wicth, skilled in the magical art of illusion, who seduces a vampire lover to gain his power. He betrayed the secrets of the kindred to her, and in she turn betrayed her tribe in exchange for the embrace. Out of such a deception, the old Gypsies say, were the ravnos Born. |
