| Doomsday was created by scientist seeking to create a
superbeing who could withstand anything. They were far too ruthless, though, and ended up
being too successful, creating a monster. Doomsday went around destroying worlds for quite
some time. Eventually, he made it to Earth. Superman defeated
him, at the cost of his life. Later, Superman went after him again, as he felt that he had
to stop the creature from destroying any other worlds. He was apparently successful, but
who really knows... |
