Gypsy grew up in Detroit, living off the streets. She was something of an urban legend and preferred to stay that way until the Justice League of America came to town. Things changed then and she ended up joining them. She adventured with them until the League shut down; too many members died during the events of Legends. It was then that she was re-united with her parents and settled down to live normally... Until Despero. Despero came and killed her parents and almost killed her. Only the intervention of J'onn J'onnz saved her. Since then, there has been a unique relationship between the two. She then briefly joined the Conglomerate before being asked to re-join the Justice League as a core member of the Justice League Task Force. |
