| Shiera Sanders was the girlfriend of Carter Hall (otherwise known as Hawkman). After finding a spare costume that he had made for himself, she donned it, imitating him and became Hawkgirl (later to be known as Hawkwoman). She and her husband became members of the Justice Society of America and went on to serve briefly in the Justice League of America (this is the explanation of them post-Crisis. Pre-Crisis, they never were members). | |
