| Sinestro was a Green Lantern and quite a good one. The power, though,
ended up corrupting him and he started using it for his own purposes. When Hal Jordan was assigned to him to teach, he tried to teach Hal to
over-indulge. Hal did not buy into this and reported him to the Guardians, who then sent
Hal to deal with him. Hal successfully stripped Sinestro of his ring and sent him packing.
Things were far from over, though. Sinestro showed up again, not too much later with a new
ring, forged on Qward. He became Hal's chief foe and they clashed many times. Finally,
though, the Guardians set Sinestro up against Hal as a last ditch effort to stop him from
reaching the Main Power Battery on Oa. Sinestro was killed. |
