| Henry Heywood III was the grandson of the famous WWII hero, Commander Steel. When he was still a young man, his grandfather had cybernetics grafted into him much like those which were in his grandfather in order to make him a hero. Calling himself Steel, he went and joined the newly reformed Justice League of America and offered them a headquarters. He stayed with them until his death during the events of Legends. | |
