Desmond Farr comes from old money. His family built a hige
fortune in real estate and stocks, he and Buck Wargo’s grandfathers being partners in
many businesses. Buck and Desmond are old friends. Desmond’s older brother, Dean was
linked to Desmond in an odd manner. Whenever Dean was hurt, it was Desmond who would feel
the pain. Dean, trying to save his brother some trouble, headed far away from Dean to the
Valley of the Tiger-Men to explore. Desmond soon followed, sensing his brother was in
trouble. Once there, Desmond found that Dean had already come across the secret of the
Tiger-Men and had become one. Desmond also drank the liquid and became one. Somehow, the
liquid dissolved the bond between the two. A few years later Dean was killed in a joint
adventure they shared. Dean’s powers were somehow transferred to Desmond when he
died, making Desmond twice as powerful. |
