What's emulation?
Emulation can be thought of as a program which turns your computer into another system. There are many different types of emulation, from other computer systems to video game systems. This section deals with video game emulation. In other words, within these pages are the programs and files needed to turn your computer into a video game system. The emulator is software needed to run the games. So think of the emulator as the little box with Nintendo stamped on the front of it: The base console or unit. The games for emulators are called ROMS. These ROMS were created right from original cartridge or game. You need to unzip the emulator software and then unzip the ROMS.
