Dune I

This games is a production of Virgin Games, Westwood and CRYO,
They made this game in 1984 and it is great to play, especially the visual effects are great.

In this game you are Paul Atreides, son of Duke Leto Atreides
Your job is to keep a consistent flow of spice, Dune's major export, to Emperor Shaddam IV.
To do this, you must make contact with the few natives of Arrakis, the Fremen, and defeat the Harkonnens

A beginning is a very delicate time. Know then that it is the year 10191.
The known universe is ruled by the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV, my father.

In this time, the most precious substance in the universe is the spice melange.
The spice extends life, the spice expands consciousness, the spice is vital to space travel.
The Spacing Guild and its navigators, who the spice has mutated over four thousand years,
use the orange spice gas which gives them the ability to fold space.
That is travel to any part of the universe without moving.

Oh yes, I forgot to tell you, the spice exists on only one planet in the entire universe :
a desolate, dry planet with vast deserts.
Hidden away within the rocks of these deserts are a people known as Fremen who have long held a prophecy,
that a man would come, a messiah, who would lead them to true freedom.

The planet is Arrakis, also known as... DUNE

Dune II

Dune II was the strategy-game of the year 1993.
This game is also a game on Dune, you must fight and win, if you
fail your mission, Dune is taken over by another house, this time it's not a
game that you have to start with the Atreides, but you can choose with which
house you will fight:

There is a new house to fight with, the Ordos, known for there sabotage and terrorism


The planet Arrakis, known as Dune.
Land of Sand.
Home of the Spice Melange
The Spice controls the Empire

The Emperor has proposed a challenge to each of the houses
The House that produces the most spice will control Dune,
There are no set territories and no rules of engagement.

Vast armies have arrived
Now three houses fight for control of Dune:
The noble Atreides
The insidious Ordos
And the evil Harkonnen
Your battle for Dune begins........NOW




Again a game from Westwood, but now in cooperation with Electronic Arts, a
very strong game with a lot of strategy and even more great graphics.
Now you have the option to play a fighting game over the world, in the first games
your mission is to choose which side you will fight with, and again eliminate the
other houses. Again with the Ordos, Artreides and Harkonnen.
