HIT UP, UP, UP, MACHINE GUN THIS GIVES YOU A BOOST THIS TAKES UP 2 MISSLES.

Secrets
On the "Secret Base" level there are 3 jets. If you blow up the yellow stand the jet will move down the runway and take off. If you put a bear hug mine and let a enemy get stuck the plane will smash the enemy and they will go flying. Also if you go through the fence into the satellite area and go under all of them and go into the building and drive through and then go to the red lights and then one of them is green stop under the lights and a big missile will come out and hit your enemy. The missile will only come out if the other light turns green. Then go back through the building and do the same on the other side another missile will come out again. You can do this unlimited amount of times.

In the Secret Base level, you can shoot the yellow ladders next to the Stealth's. Then go to the restricted area and go through the red/green light in the "pit". The planes will then help take out your opponent.

In the Sand Factory, you can shoot the sand dunes with missiles or Specials and they will slowly lower. There are special boxed under them.

While I'm at it...might as well try donating a strategy tip. When you are in the secret base, use "Bear Hug" mines just before the fence into the restricted area, that way your opponent will get stuck and shot by the security cannons.

Secret weapon attacks
Each weapon has two secret moves. The manual tells you one and these are the other ones. Note: These special attacks will still work even if the weapon, is not your selected weapon.

Interceptor Missiles: Halo Decoy
Up, Up, Down, Fire Machine . This will cause any homing missiles or special to follow your missiles instead of you. Useful but not easy to pull off. This is one of the only ways to cause the Gamma Storm from Beezwax to miss. This attack takes 2 missiles away from your inventory.

Bull's Eye Rockets: Stampede
Up, Down, Up, Fire Machine . This shoots up to 5 of your rockets in a quick secession. They don't aim automatically so most will miss unless your target is stationary: I.E. stalled or in a Bear Hug Mine. Also using this while spinning around is great for multiple enemies. This attack takes 1-5 rockets away from your inventory.

Sky Hammer Mortar: Turtle Turnover
Down, Down, Down, Fire Machine . This will cause the opponents car to flip over on it's roof. The computer flips right back up. But some of the bigger cars take a while so it can be useful. This attack takes 2 shells away from your inventory.

Bruiser Cannon: Cow Puncher
Down, Up, Down, Fire Machine . This not only does a lot of damage in one hit, but it also throws the opponent for a loop. Well, it just pushes them back and sometimes will tip them over. Great fun if your opponent is on the side of a cliff. This attack takes 2 shells away from your inventory. Roadkill Mines:

Cactus Patch:
Left, Right, Up, Fire Machine . This will cause you to drop up to 6 mines in a area behind your car. If someone is following you they are guaranteed to hit at least one of them. And the best part is that unlike Twisted Metal 2, mines stay where you put them. So be careful! This attack takes 1-6 Mines away from your inventory.

Tricks for Tracks
In the Valley farms level you can send a tidal wave down the water filled trenches by destroying the small water pumps on the edges.
In the Canyonlands, Utah level you can shoot the back of the train to get specials.
The specials for the weapons are partially included in the book and to get the second one for each weapon, merely change the last direction to its opposite (ie. mortar is down,down,up,machine gun so it becomes down,down,down,machinegun)

Secrets
On the ski level go to the bottom of the hill and enter the lodge doors, your car will get onto the lift and it will take you to the top of the mountain.
In the Las Vegas level you can find the blimp flying over, watch where it lands then enter the door that opens. It will take off and allow you to fly it over the city, get over a building and wait until it drops you on the roof.
In the airplane graveyard you can drive your car between the flight tower and electric polls. The flight towers are located at each corner of the level, they are the towers with the flag on the roof. This will cause the B-52 bombers to come out and bomb your opponents.
