Just so I don’t forget, let’s start with the Bling Blinging guy from Hong Kong in our tour group. This guy is all pimped out. He has a gold beaded necklace (hollow, but actually gold) with this gigantic jade piece hanging on it. Attached to his belt, his cell phone has a face studded with diamonds which cost 38,000 HK dollars (like 5000 US). Added to all that, this guy, big bellied and with thick side burns, bought this walrus tusk today and wore it like a sword casing. He seemed a bit shady at first, but I guess he’s alright. Alright, back to talking about my day. The Maligne River Canyon was our first stop. Oh yeah, we stayed at a Crestwood Hotel last night (ooo, a change…mixing it up) in some town named Hinton. The canyon was a lot deeper than I though and had some really pretty landscapes (I’m like all proud of some of the pictures I’ve taken with a camcorder). Next on the list was lunch. Yeah, pretty quick. Today was a big driving day, but I watched movies rather than slept (shock). First, however, the adults had to go through all the singing off key and with wrong lyrics and stuff. When they god louder I could see Eric scrunching up and pressing his headphones against his ears. I turned the volume on my Discman up. Later in the day, when we watched movies, we watched the end of Shaolin Soccer, gotta see it when I get back, Man in the Iron Mask, and Tomb Raider (I missed parts of the middle and couldn’t hear the dialogue too clearly…but who watched that movie for plot anyways? =P). Okay, for lunch we went to Mt. Robson Park, and our last stop of the day was this Ginseng place in Kamloops. Really not much to do today, guess we just wanted to get out of Jasper Park and Alberta as fast as possible, hehehe. At the Ginseng place the moms couldn’t help but buy more while the dads stood around. Uncle Andy stared at the posters and criticized the terminology and chemical structures. On the way to the hotel (in Vernon again in the same hotel as the second night except this time in the suites, which have a kitchen inside…nice!) Terry called his parents asking where his Adidas bag was or something. The WSCLC Vball camp starts tomorrow. Aiye, wish I could go…I need to work on my skills and stuff. I was kinda sad that he didn’t care to say hi to anyone else (specifically me), too caught up in looking for a bag…aiye. I’ll expand on this in my online journal. Well, it’s late and my dad’s still out “talking” (he probably passed out somewhere, hehehe). Good night.
