I couldn't believe my ears...Tunes are almost the best ever made in videogame world! It nearly or almost beat Final Fantasy VI. However, it's hard to compare the musics like that. Both composers have different styles. Composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, will he ever be the second of Nobuo Uematsu? The most successful piece is perhaps the ending vocal song, Small Two Of Pieces. Into the sky and Distant Promise are definitely my favourites. Just like Final Fantasy VI, Xenogears has tons of memorable tunes. I can keep on going on and on but the only way to believe it, is to hear it yourself. I have a few more Xenogears midis but probably upload them another day
