Started playing DQ 5 now that I have the patch. I've only just escaped  from slavery with Henry, but so far, I'm very pleased with the game  overall, just another great game by Enix that we in North America got  shafted out of. Also have the DQ 6 patch, but I won't touch it until after  DQ 5. As such, I started the DQ 5 section, key word STARTED.

 DW 7 update: Went back to my other save at the start of disc 2,  currently leveling up characters and jobs before I tackle the Flame  Spirit. Unfortunately, I have the english patch for DQ 5 now, so it will be  tough to get back to this game. :)
