Surface can be intimidating the first time you start it. It looks
like you'll get lost constantly. The truth is, if you
don't pay attention to where you're going, you will. Pay
attention to these directions, and you'll breeze through the level.
You'll start off in a big opening. Just follow the worn path and
kill any guards in the way. Continue on the path until you
reach the BIG building with a satellite on top. Go a
little past it, then turn right onto a path branching off the one
you're on. Continue on that path until you see another
going up to the entrance. Go in the building, up the stairs, and
into the Comm Room. DO NOT SHOOT THE COMPUTER! If you
shoot it, you'll have to retstart the level. Go up to the
computer and press B. It should turn off, and an objective will be completed.
Exit the building the way you came in. Go straight ahead over the
hill, and you should see a thing that looks like a water
tank. Climb up the ladder on the right side of the tank,
and you'll see a cage type of thing. There will be four
locks holding a part of the floor up. Shoot each lock
twice, and the floor will drop out. Jump down the hole, and beat the level.
On Secret and 00 Agent, you'll have to do two new things. You'll have to obtain the safe key, and steal the building plans. To obtain the safe key, you must get a key to get to the safe key. When you start out, go until you reach two cabins across from each other. Go so you're on the left outside wall of the cabin right cabin. Continue straight until you cime to a small cabin sitting behind a lookout tower. Go inside, and kill the men. You will get a Large Key. Now, journey back to those first two cabins, and go to the one that was on your left when you started. Inside is the Safe Key. To steal the building plans, continue straight past the satellite building until you come to a fenced in area. Go in, and the building on the left will have a safe, with the plans inside it.
